I am looking for a fix to get my metamask wallet working again on firefox. When i click on the metamask icon all I get is a spinning wheel. I am not able to login and access my my metamask wallet. I am hoping to find a fix prior to performing a recovery with with my seed phrase on another desktop. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

_3. Attached snippets / screenshots show nice shortcut to toggle on-off auxiliary Search Bar on the Toolbar. Version 121.0.1 has the shortcut. Version 122.0 does not have the shortcut. __

_4. Please issue an update that will restore this shortcut. __

_5. FYI, I did figure out that you can navigate to SETTINGS, MORE TOOLS, CUSTOMIZE TOOLBAR, and FIND in order to add or remove the auxiliary Search Bar on the Toolbar. But the shortcut in illustrated in the screenshot of Version 121.0.1 was so much simpler!

Ever since I loaded 120.0.1 (64 bit) I have had problems accessing numerous sites. For example, https//HOn30.org. FIrst I get several "Having trouble ..." messages, and when it does come up it's a blank screen. I have had this happen wtih Library of Congree, eBay, and most sites from linking within another web site. I have tried playing with the "HTTPS mode" and the "DNS over HTTPS" to no avail. What changed with this version and how do I fix it. How do I stop Fox News videos from automatically popping up in a small lower right window? I’m using a DuckDuckGo browser, MacBook Pro laptop with Sonoma 14.2.1 operating system. I’m not very techy so need a solution I can understand and implement.

I want to remove the top toolbar. I actually use the plug-in called “New windows without toolbar” for this, but I have to activate this plug-in by clicking on it every time. I want the toolbar to not appear at all when Firefox first opens, how can I achieve this?

why do my add-ons keep getting disabled?

ff keeps disabling add-ons that i have used for years and even keep a v. 5 to use the older add-ons and use the latest ff developer to use w/ more modern websites. ff even disables add-ons that worked perfectly well in ff developer and does not even give me the opportunity to re-enable them like i could before.

is there any way to force my old version to let ME decide what i want disabled/enabled?

Amazon search has disappeared from browser and not included in list of search engines. I want amazon.uk not U.S. and I do not know where about:config is.

Preferences in user.js are added permanently to prefs.js and persist even after user.js is deleted. What if you want to specify preferences in a file, just like with user.js, but you don't want them to be made permanent? In other words, so that when the file is deleted, the prefs will be forgotten. Is there any way to do this?

Is there a way to skip the wait for the "Accept the Risk and Continue" button to appear? I assemble and set up copiers for a living. Every single one of them has a self-signed certificate. I see this "Potential security risk ahead" screen dozens of times a day because of this. I understand why I'm seeing it. I understand the importance of a security warning like that. What I would like to do is skip the delay between when you click on advanced and the "Accept risk and continue" button becoming available to be clicked on. That or some way to disable that security warning specifically for self-signed certificates would be ideal.

Yes, I know addons exist for it but many work places don't allow installing addons, security wise they can be a concern and these addons have poor UI/UX. I am genuinely considering using Edge over Firefox due to them having better tab groups which I never though I would say. Please implement a simple tab folder, literally just what current Edge has. It is a very useful basic feature and I would really love to have it included in my favorite browser I have been using for over a decade. Thank you.

Current version of Firefox on Windows 11. Menu bar hidden when Firefox started. I have tried every setting suggested and understand how to turn it on, but next time I start Firefox, menu bar is hidden again. Reinstalling Firefox -- no joy. Restarting in safe mode -- no joy. Help!

I wanted to make a lengthy post on a website today, but I accidentally hit CTRL + R twice which bypassed the "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave — information you’ve entered may not be saved." safety net. Is there a way to deliberately disable any and all refresh shortcuts and buttons when a safety net shows up, so my buttery fingers don't ruin my day to it's absolute maximum?

I want safety nets to be deliberately annoying.

Can anyone help me out and others on this matter? several months ago appears FB decided to screw everyone over by arbitrarily forcing auto refresh. If you're reading something long and or have to step away for a moment it is gone.

Some have posted for chrome they have an extension that stopped it. The only one on FF does not work. I tried it, does nothing at all. Time for FF to fix this issues allowing you to turn it on or off at my will.

It has reinstalled all my other extentions, but hasn't my password manager for some reason. Or at least I can't find it. I also can't remember the name of it, and so don't know what to search to download it again. Is there a way to see historic extentions or something?

As the title says when I am using the video player on Coursera website I am not able to hide the control bar while on fullscreen mode (even if I don t move my mouse for more than 15 seconds). I ve attached a screenshot with the control bar being displayed. (also the captions are overlapping with that control bar) I ve also tried different ways of opening the fullscreen mode (click on the "Full Screen" button or by pressing 'F'). I don t have this problem on websites like YouTube.

I noticed that after the recent updates, the pop-up notification for blocked pop-ups has changed from yellow to white.. This makes it very difficult to see and I almost missed it. Is there a way to revert this change using userChrome.css?

I don't understand why this unnecessary change was made. I already have my own userChrome style for the entire Firefox because it was frustrating to constantly change it back after each update.

I would appreciate any information on how to revert this change.

I've been encountering a persistent error with Firefox, and I'm hoping someone here might have a solution. Whenever I try to open Firefox, I keep getting an error message that says "Secure Connection Failed" for certain websites. It's really frustrating because it's preventing me from accessing important sites. I've tried clearing my cache and cookies, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?
