Firefox is my browser, and Outlook my email program. After years of troublefree access to Kickstarter, I now cannot link to the site, neither by Google search, nor by responding to an email link sent to me by Kickstarter. Instead, I get a message which reads:

'You are sending too many requests to Kickstarter at this time. Please contact support@kickstarter.com if you continue to see this error.'

I have contacted Kickstarter, but their response is that the problem probably lies with my browser. Do you have any idea why this problem should suddenly have appeared?

Hi! I am running Firefox on an old MacPro5,1 with MacOS Ventura using Open Core Legacy Patcher. The graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630. So overall it's a pretty old setup but everything works fine. However, since day one, I've been having rendering issues with some (not all) videos on Firefox. These videos include some but not all YouTube videos, some embedded animations on websites, and every live stream video. The workaround is pretty straightforward: everything works fine on Safari and Chrome. Still, I am wondering what the issue could be, any help would be appreciated. Attached are two screenshot of what the rendering issues look like.

I just realized that my user agent string is wrong (for instance, it says that I am on OS X 10.15, even though I am on 13.6, not sure if that makes any difference at all.

I have an issue that about:config > browser.link.open_newwindow keeps setting itself to '2', so I have to repeatedly go in and reset it to '3'.

Not entirely sure what could've caused this, all I've been able to find is this here support article with another bloke having the samme issue, but what seemed to be only once.

I haven't done much in way of troubleshooting, as I'm not really sure how to go about doing that for a browser.

If I had to guess, it would be either something updating, or an extension yanking my chain, so here's the list of every extension I have installed:

I use firefox as my browser(I like it the best) I have edge on my computer because I upgraded to windows 10. I really dislike microsoft edge. I recently downloaded a couple of pdf's , in the settings it says that firefox opens the pdf. then I click on the pdf and when it opens it has a button that wants me to put edge as the default reader and so I go to the settings on firefox and it says that firefox is the reader tat opens the pdf but their is no way to make firefox my default pdf. it is really frustrating, as I said I really do not like the edge browser. Is there any way that this is fixed? thank you for your help!

Firefox updates and downloads carry the bing "virus" I got rid of bing by refreshing Firefox Go to add or remove programs, find Firefox in the list Highlight and right click which brings up the uninstall option When you click uninstall, Firefox gives you the option to refresh Refresh, and you're back to Google

On Windows 10

The Firefox "New tab" page shows quick-navigation buttons. At the top right of each button, the 3-dot menu has an Edit option. On the edit dialog is a link "Use a custom image", which then prompts you for a image URL.

I've tried pointing this to images in my Google Photos (a 1024x1024 .JPG), using an open-shareable link, but it doesn't work.

a) What format does the icon image have to be in? b) Are there any limitations on the URL? c) Is there a way to use a locally stored icon image?

When I went to open the vpn file, I got a message saying that it may contain malicious code that may harm my pc? Therefore Ive purchased the monthly payment but as of yet been unwilling to open the file. Also I got vpn in order to watch peacock T.V. as well as NBC and MSNBC Ive no idea how to access these programs in the U.S. as Im in Canada?

When scrolling the print edition of the Wall Street Journal on an iPad (8th gen)the minutest flick of thumb up will return the view to page one. Doesn’t matter which page, it always goes back to page one. Very annoying and doesn’t happen when I’m using Safari nor when viewing other web sites so have to surmise it’s a glitch, setting or specific to the WSJ.

Firefox updated today (11/30/23) to version 120. All of the shortcut icons on my start tab disappeared. I've tried to re-enter but they are not accepted. Please help!! I depended on these shortcuts for my work.

when I'm on sites playing games, i.e. face book, I keep getting this across the bottom of my screen:

How can I disable it? I can't take a screen shot because if I place my mouse on it, it skips to another place on my screen.

Menu, tabs, X (for closing program) do not appear at start. I then have to do CTRL ALT Delete to teminate Firefox I have repeatedly re-installed Firefox but then have to reset all my preferences/bookmarks/etc. and the problem re-appears randomly. I just restarted Firefox and THIS TIME it worked! Normal heading: (attached) Top of Screen/Heading when error appears: No "Get Support Mozilla Support - Mozilla Firefox/no Tabs line/no bookmark toolbar/ no - + X in upper right corner" --->have to do a CTRL ALT DEL to terminate the program. This is a new ASUS Vivobook 15 Computer with Windows 11 that I've had only a week.

Is Firefox aware that when authoring e-mail in Microsoft Word, then copying them into the BT e-mail, all the control characters are transferred with it the ASCII text. I have checked with other people, and it is not just my machine. I now have to copy the e-mail into notepad first then copy to email, to just get the ASCII characters in the email.

Since the last FF update (115.5esr, Windows 8.1 Pro) I keep getting the following error message when I try to access one particular website:

The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to www.doordash.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have tried virtually all the solutions suggested online. I have cleared my cache, deleted cookies and site data, and I have tried to access the site using Troubleshooting mode, all to no avail. I contacted support for the particular website and they have no difficulty accessing the site with FF.

I can access the site in question with the Chrome browser, so the issue would appear to lie with Mozilla. I use this particular site frequently and would much prefer to continue to access it using it with FF, as I have done for over a year. I just installed Chrome on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC solely for the purposes of accessing this one website.

Help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
