I just switched to a new computer and I believe I changed my Firefox Sync password without realizing it deletes my entire profile (I only noticed the warning after going to change it a second time!) - which I would really like to get back. On my iPad, which I moved from, my old bookmarks still show up in their entirety when I hit "bookmarks" - and everything else seems to be there. Firefox on the iPad is asking me to sign in but I don't want to do that, in case it erases everything there. Is there any way to retrieve my profile either from the iPad, on which it still seems to exist in some form, or by another method? Thank you.

Hello, I'm having similar issue like this person https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1b8e2za/everything_is_missing_after_update/, where my shortcuts and recent activity is just blank. I tried to reinstall firefox, install beta version, remove cookies and cache but nothing helped me. Seems it happened after a update.

Firefox won't display background video on my website http://iconx.tech/home-1-8/ while other browsers do it seamlessly. Kindly fix this issue, or I regrettably needs to point out to my audience that webpage has been reported to break on Firefox and advise them to use Chrome or other browser.

Thanks and kind regards.

We have been maintaining a set of tools for Science Olympiad Code Busters (https://toebes.com/codebusters/) that generate and print tests.

When we print the tests using other browsers (Chrome, Edge) we are able to get consistent formatting and output such that the page fits on the sheet of paper and text is rendered cleanly. However, in the past year or so we have received complaints from Firefox users that it doesn't format and print well.

I was able to confirm that it indeed produces less than ideal output with Firefox and spent several hours to reduce the problem to a single self contained file that I have run through the W3c validator to ensure that there is no un-toward HTML.

I've been able to reduce it down to a small example that has everything contained in a single file: https://toebes.com/codebusters/Samples/firefox_toebes_printing_example.html

If you load the file in Firefox and then print, you will notice several issues: 1) The names of participants table ends up wider than the page. 2) The Score table on the first page is off the right hand edge of the page. 3) The header for the second page (Page 1) is on a page by itself 4) The footer for the second page (Page 1) is near the top of the third page 5) The text for the timed question appears too high on the page 6) The text for the timed question is in a slightly larger font such that it wraps early. 7) Similar problems are on the last page, with the header appearing nominally in the correct place 8) The footer for the last page is on a page by itself.

Note that I have experimented with multiple options for the print scale and margins, for purposes of comparison I set the margins to .5" all around and forced the scale to 100% in all three browsers.

Is there some other option or tweaking that I am missing to get this to work properly on Firefox?

If there's an internal scroll bar for something within a website, Ancestry is a good example of this, I've had to stop using Firefox for it entirely now, you can't get to it, because every time you try, the Firefox one pops up over the top of the internal one. I can't work out how to deal with this, there's multiple sites I use regularly that I have to open in a different browser just to use effectively because of this one issue.

Prior to today, on my Edwards Jones site, I could click on market commentary or check on latest CD rates and see results. But today, you have apparently changed the way 'embedded sites work and it traps an error. Right clicking on the link does not work ... So this obviously your latest new and improved feature to protect my security does not work as intended . . . what are you going to do to fix it? I moved the downloads folder via File Explorer to OneDrive. So now it's like this:

All other apps seem to respect this setting other than Firefox. Any ideas?

So, I use Fn + F7 which should stop or play the last active audio source.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it just refuses to work for one site at time, while the others work fine. So, for example, I have site x which plays audio, and site y which played audio some time ago, both windows open. Sometimes medias keys work as supposed, sometimes it doesn't work for site x for no apparent reason while it works for site y, or vice versa.

To get it to work, I have to spam it, move the tab around to the front (sometimes it works, it seems it gets priority, but it could be just coincidence) or completely close the tab and open another one with the same site. Whatever's causing this, it seems to be random, but it seems to be caused the most when having multiple tabs that can play audio, but not exclusively.

I just switched to Firefox and I don't really want to switch back, so it'd be great if any assistance is offered. On my last browser this wasn't the case.

This is what I've tried to solve the problem, but didn't work: - Go to about:preferences and turn off and then back on media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled - Open your Firefox settings (about:preferences); Uncheck Control media via keyboard, headset, or virtual interface. It is at the end of the page; Restart Firefox; Check that setting again

Additional information: - Here's the site that causes me trouble the most (this is a YouTube playlist loader for big playlists): https://youtube-playlist-randomizer.bitbucket.io/ - I use Windows 11

If you are seeing this page it is because your browser has failed some security checks. You may still be able to browse our site to find the feature or store you're looking for.

The Tesco website works OK with Edge on the same machine and Firefox 127.0 on another machine. I think this is a known problem is there a fix/work around?
