Hi,

I have sent an email to support but didn't receive an answer yet, so I hope someone here might be able to help me.

So I've been trying to export my Pocket list, but didn't receive any my email.

After going over few of the support articles. I've noticed that my email didn't show up in the settings of Pocket. I have updated the email address, but I am not receiving the confirmation email.

I've tried 3 different email address.

Any idea what can I do? Thanks!

What is a Pockets account? Mozilla is closing? Mozilla will shut down Pocket’s services on July 8, 2025. At that time users will no longer be able to access the Pocket website, apps and API. You can export your saved items and API data until October 8, 2025 before they are permanently removed. For more information, see this article.

Buried in this announcement is the following statement:

"Meanwhile, new features like Tab Groups and enhanced bookmarks now provide built-in ways to manage reading lists easily."

Is this a yet to be announce new feature because as far as I can tell the bookmark implementation has not changed in years. However, I would welcome some "enhancements" as the current implementation is quite clunky.

Thoughts, anyone?

I want to remove Pockets entirely from my Firefox browser. Looking up how to do so, I'm directed to the cog wheel in the upper right corner. The problem is, there's no cog to be found. No matter how many new pages I open...no toggle. So,in Application Menu I hit Settings and typed in Shortcut and clicked Off on the Shortcut line. As you can imagine, I messed up the page even further. Now, my shortcut links (which I use a lot) are gone and the whole page is the dreaded Pockets. Without the Cog wheel how do I remove Pockets and get back my shortcut links?

I don't live in the U.S. and I LOATHE Donald Trump.

I would like the right to BLOCK ALL Donald Trump news, references, and any other reports that include his name or are written about him. I think it is propaganda forced upon the masses to have to see this jackass day in and day out. And for the next four years he will be front page news on every single God Damned channel, paper, report and internet news feed.

Please allow us to put him on a BLACK LIST and give us the right to Black List anyone we see fit to put on that list. I curate my YT feeds, specifically, and I have black listed several people and topics from any and all of my feeds. I think the internet should allow us to do so for ourselves, and not be forced by internet providers and search engines and web browsers to out up with that jackass for another four years !!

I've been struggling with Firefox's poor performance on my aging computers. I have a new macbook as well as 2 vintage macbooks and my desktop runs OS 10.13.6. Performance after the last several updates is slow and occasionally websites not showing, which caused me to attempt to downgrade to FF 78.6, but tried clearing cache instead. I had way too many websites open. Clearing cache improved things slightly, but now this—Pocket: after resetting Firefox I'm confronted with the poor decision-making that has allowed your browser to be infiltrated by 'Pocket;' news for the somnambulist slumbering through the Trumpocolypse to grease our slide into full-blown fascism. Do I exaggerate? Yesterday Trump called on the justice dept to open an investigation into the Republican in his last administration who declared the 2020 election results valid-- So, by extension, we now live in a time when the king, er, I mean the Commander in Chief, uh, president, whatever, can use the government to target anyone he doesn't like for any reason. Newsworthy? Okay, amongst the twenty or so Pocket offerings is a ProPublica story and one from AP I'd find interesting, but I'd have bailed long before I saw them because of all the 'amazing' credit card offers and such BS in the way. Which is too bad, because that means the Mozilla effort to reign in AI comes last of all. Open source, with ads.

I recently clicked on a "Thought-Provoking Stories" sponsored link on the Firefox homepage, expecting an informative article. Instead, I was taken to LendingTree, where I was asked increasingly personal financial questions, including my full address, email, and phone number.

I find this kind of sponsored content misleading and concerning, especially for a browser that promotes privacy and security. This process felt deceptive and overly aggressive in collecting user data.

I would like to know:

   How can I ensure that I do not see similar misleading ads in the future?
   Will Mozilla take steps to review and remove such advertisements from the Firefox homepage?

For some reason the pictures and articles don't match up. There is a picture of one thing and the article that goes with it is the next picture over. It seem like the picture is what determines which article you are reading. But the ads all line up perfectly. It's really strange. Like everything is one off to the left. Not sure if I am explaining this well and I am not a computer person so I have no clue why it is happening.

Could you please activate saving setting to articles. I can´t always read it immediately, but most of them would get some of my time later. I usually use bookmarks, but find that tidier than it.

I was asked by FireFox to add Pocket as an extension. I was a Pocket subscriber for several years before and thought nothing of the task. Until, I tried to access years of saved articles. Zero. What happened to my account and my saved articles?d text
