I've tuned in to Firefox this morning to find that I'm kind of shut out, no access to my usual apps, and required to enact some difficult backing up etc. When I explore, it seems to relate to Windows 10 losing its backup from Microsoft. But I'm running Windows 11, not 10. What's going on? Is this legitimate? If so, why is it complicated and why wasn't it forewarned (by Firefox)?

The connection is that i clicked on what i would call an investment solicitation from an Outlook email i received from Eunice.io

There are a few clickable hot-links in my email that return same error code. They might be gathering a lot of digital data about me but otherwise i believe not 100% but 99% theyre safe THX,,, my email : [email removed]@LiVE.COM P.S. - if i input more than 255 characters in the "Please summarize your question in one sentence box : Please summarize your question in one sentence:" ,,, multiple attempts to correct that wont clear the error msg!!!,,, pass it on : )

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard

Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.

I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

normally i just click the forefox icon on my taskbar and type claude.ai in the address field but today i was messaged that the claude program needed a mozila account - so I had to set one up. why and still cannot get to Claude

I had to actually sign up fort a Mozilla account,the multiple hoops I had to jump through were ridicules, in order to ask a question of Firefox. I do not want my address bar to be my search engine. How do I disable the search engine in my address bar? And now I have to wait for an answer!!!!!!!! I used to love and trust Firefox. Not anymore.

There seems to be a glitch that I keep encountering when trying to sign in through my TV provider, particularly Verizon, to watch DisneyNOW or TCM or any other service for that matter. The website known as "ssoauth.verizon.com" seems to keep hanging on the message "Please wait - we are verifying your account," and the sign in never gets completed. I already tried clearing my cache and history but with no result.

Even trying to submit troubleshooting information is causing the form to crash here. If you would like, I can send you a text file containing the log I saved from the browser console.

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks

Just as the summary says, Used to have an icon that I put under the "hamburger" menu on the bookmarks toolbar that opened the bookmarks menu. Can't remember how I got it there. Can someone help me get it back.

I need my gmail account but I cannot sign into it, it wants me to start a new one, but that will not do at all. I will wait for a week to see if you can rectify this problem.
