After the most recent update, v.103, any image-based PDF that I print out is extremely oversized despite appearing correctly in the print preview window. I have tested other browsers and did not have this issue. I have also reset my Firefox print preferences and my printers/drivers to ensure it's not that either. Does anyone know what could be causing this, besides an issue with the new update?

I'm not sure what I did when using Multi Account Containers (Must have clicked "yes" to always open in a specific container when accessing Microsoft, www.office.com. I enter user name and password and Firefox containers prompts me to Always open in container and I click no. It's like I'm stuck in an endless loop, each time I enter user name, password and two-factor a new tab opens and I have to do it all over again (Never getting into office.com). However, when using private windows I am able to get in. Can I turn off, "Always open in X container"? Thank you.

I am trying to print shipping labels from Amazon and a third-party web app running Firefox 103.0 64-bit.

Text prints just fine but images (barcodes, etc) that need to be scaled down do not do so causing them to be truncated on the page.

I have cleared print settings and tried two different printers to no avail. The documents/images print correctly from Chrome. I have tried using the system dialog to print but this also does not correct the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I currently cannot use Firefox for the essential daily task of printing packing slip / mailing labels.

I've got web-extension proxying requests to the local server via nativeMessaging.

If server response with 307 and location "moz-extension://{ext-id}/page.html" browser displays it well. But when I try to refresh the page, error "Access to the file was denied" is occurred. Refreshing in any other cases works well:

 - direct jump to "moz-extension://{ext-id}/page.html"
 - displaying "moz-extension://{ext-id}/page.html" with browser.tabs.update

Such behavior was in several previous versions too, not just in the last 103 and but I didn't tested if it was always like this.

If I doing something wrong or this is browser issue?

Since the most current Firefox update in June 2022, when in Yahoo Mail and downloading an attachment, as the download complete, the Yahoo Mail tab is automatically closing, requiring I to go to 'History', then 'Recently Closed' tabs to re-open it. This happens Every.Single.Time I download photos and scanned docs from email. Again, this has never happened before - only with the recent Firefox update. I have 2021 a MacBook Pro.

I cannot adjust or manage the printing size when printing articles. Everything comes out huge and no longer fits the page. I have checked with Brother customer service, worked on my iphone 12 and MacBook Pro but cannot find issues to correct or resolve in any of those products. Am beginning to think a recent update or configuration from Firefox might be disrupting my printing process.

Help!

Thank you,

Hi,

I have installed Z-Scaler proxy root CA certificate in Firefox for enabling SSL inspection. It works fine for most websites, but for google.com and a few others I get every day a certificate invalid/not trusted error and I have to restart Firefox to get the error to go away. Any ideas of what I can do to improve this behaviour? Any configuration I missed?

It's very similar issue to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1199797, except that when I restart Firefox it works.

Thanks in advance for your help

I've enabled 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' to delete the cookies and site data when I close Firefox, but I would like to add some exceptions (mostly mail site). Every time I add the exception through Manage Exceptions... button and then I close Firefox, when I restart Firefox, the exception is gone. Is this expected? I don't think so. If so, it's not clear in the UI, as the button is just next to the mentioned checkbox.

Hello,

I am using Firefox 103.0 on an iMac running on OSX 11.6.4. For over a month (since the latest update), every time I open Firefox, the top/system menu (with "File") has disappeared. Instead, there is a large window exactly like the old "Show All History" menu, with a minimal toolbar (with "Search History" at far right), a vertical "History" box/tap, and larger box with "Name/Tags/Location" bars. There appears to be no way to close this menu window, apart from quitting Firefox.

I looked at the support (and user) answers to this question online. The most recent ones involve pressing "Alt" to get the system menu to temporarily reappear - which of course will only work on a PC. Pressing the Mac's Alt key equivalents - ctrl, opt, F10 - does absolutely nothing.

Is there any way to get the old top/system menu to reappear, or is its absence, and the un-close-able history menu, now default features of Firefox?

thanks,

Michael K Henderson

Hi. We have several websites that use Constant Contact email newsletter sign up forms. They are built on both WordPress and Kentico platforms. Since the last update, our forms have disappeared in Firefox, probably due to new security updates. (They are working fine in other browsers.)

I have also reached out to Constant Contact.

Hopefully you are all working to resolve this issue because it is a major problem, both for us as a company and for our users. (We have three local new home real estate websites and one trade publication for the plumbing and HVAC industries.)

We are not a spammy company or anything. We need these tools to work!

Thanks, Southern Trade Publications

I work at MIT, where personal certificates are issued by MIT to control access to restricted websites and campus resources.

The certificates expire after a year and have to be renewed.

For all of 2022, my Firefox correctly used my 2022 certificate to access websites, even though I also had expired 2020 and 2021 certificates stored and listed in the Certificate Manager.

Our 2022 certificates expired on July 31. I already had installed my 2023 certificate in the Certificate Manager, where it is presently listed. HOWEVER, Firefox seems to be offered up the expired certificate to all my MIT websites, despite the fact it's expired.

I have tried removing my "Active Logins" in the History:Clear Recent History... dialog, but that makes no difference.

There ought to be some way to instruct Firefox NOT to automatically pick what it used to use, and use something new, but I cannot figure out how to force such a thing.

Ideas?
