I would like to swap the order of the first 2 items on the Bookmarks Context Menu - that is "Open in New Tab" should be second, and "Open in New Window" should be first.

I'm able to do this on the "regular" context menu with the following code...

#context-openlink { 
   order: -1;
}

But I cannot find the correct selector for the Bookmarks Context menu (see attached image).

I have tried code (to no avail) such as the following...

#placesContext-openlink { 
   order: -1;
}

#BMB_bookmarksPopup-openlink { 
   order: -1;
}

Hello. How can I remove all those unwanted sections clogging up my Bookmarks list? In order, they are the View bookmarks sidebar, Search bookmarks, Manage bookmarks, Bookmarks toolbar, and Other bookmarks.

There is already a Manage bookmarks item at the bottom of the list, and so all those at the top of the bookmarks are just wasting space on the screen.

There is also the Extensions icon on the location bar which is of no use. I have shifted it to the left next to the Reload icon, but would like to remove it completely.

I'll check back tomorrow and see if anyone has any idea about these simple user interface adjustments.

Using Firefox version 134 (64bit). When I click "Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks, the listing defaults to the "Other Bookmarks" folder. I would like it to default to the "Bookmarks Menu" folder. How do I make it do that? Note: In 2023, I used a fix submitted by cor-el that modified autoconfig.js and autoconfig.cfg and worked very well, however in Firefox v 134, it no longer works

In the last approx 3-4 weeks, Firefox bookmarks on Android and PC have *not* remembered alphabetical sort choices on PC. I cannot sort (and remember) bookmark toolbar alphabetical sort order on PC and I cannot sort and remember bookmark alphabetical sort on Android, synced with the PC. My bookmarks on both PC and Android are arranged in some haphazard way that "sorting by name" under Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / Bookmarks Toolbar / Views / Sort / Sort by Name momentarily changes but does not persist to the next time I view. The next time I view the sort of the bookmarks toolbar, it is always "unsorted". Again this has only been an issue in the past 3-4 weeks.
