Recently transferred from Chrome. My understanding was Firefox private browsing was supposed to work similarly to chrome incognito mode; once you close the browser, all local files are deleted and cookies are cleared.

However, with Firefox it maintains my logins. If I log into an account while private browsing and the close the browser, I’ll still be logged in next time I go to the website even if it’s days later (and I have never logged into this account in a non-private browsing window!)

I never had this issue using chrome incognito, so it seems to be a Firefox problem.

Is this just not something Firefox supports? Is there any way to prevent storage of cookies and private data?

If I were to delete my Mozilla account, would I be automatically signed out of both my Mozilla account and my Mozilla Support account across all devices?

Also, when deleting my Mozilla account, is any and all information related to both my Mozilla account and my Mozilla Support account deleted?

Having spent a frustrating weekend being unable to log into Coventry Building Society's online banking app, I phoned them this morning to be told they consider Firefox insecure and no longer support its use. The app accepts my username & password, tells me they are going to 'phone me with an access code' and then displays "Page not found". Anyone know of any other bank or similar who would believe Firefox to be insecure?

Yahho search is on my home screen but not on my app list. I suspect malware. I use Bitdefender free for antivirus and scans sho no problem. I read that yahoo search can be hacked.What can I do

I signed up & paid for Mozilla Monitoring Premium. I get monthly reports from then, but when I click on "automatically delete data from brokers," I'm asked to sign up for Premium again. Please help.

With the change in the Privacy policy and TOU for Mozilla, it's been mentioned in several official responses that certain functionality will not be possible going forward without those changes.

If I never use suggestions, hints, or any mozilla services with firefox. Just what functionality becomes a problem that you need to change the "We will never sell your data" and the other equally disturbing "you grant mozilla a irrevocable non-exclusive royalty free right..."?

How about some clear transparency instead of the opaque non-specific statements you've been making?

Loyal users of firefox for the last 20+ years deserve better than this.

Oh, and why can't I remove the search shortcuts for bookmarks, tabs and history, I'd like to map those keys to something else.

Up until 6 months ago I was easily able to access all my bank accounts on line using Firefox. I can still access others but not Capital One 360 on line banking. When I try to access Capital One I just get the message that " there has been snag and to try again" which does not work. So I can access my Capital One account only thru Google Chrome. Capital One says that the reason is that Firefox does not update their security setting to the level they require. Can anyone tell me if this is the problem or if there is some other reason why I can no longer use Firefox to access this account.

I have a question about using Firefox PDF Editor. I copied some text from a PDF document that is on my computer, by highlighting the text and then hitting Ctrl+C. The text copied onto my clipboard OK. Then I opened a blank PDF document in the Firefox PDF Editor and tried to paste that text into the blank document, but I wasn't able to do so because when I right-clicked on the blank document and then clicked on "paste", nothing happened. This apparently is because the word "paste" is faded-out in the drop-down menu (i.e., it does not appear in prominent bold print). Google's Artificial Intelligence seems to indicate that the technique I used would work (see screenshot which I've uploaded). But it didn't work, so can anyone please tell me how can I paste text into that blank document?

As creator of retroonline.net. We recently noticed Firefox have limited value size in IDB which Chrome and Edge do not have. This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?
