Try as hard as I may from all the Help screens, I cannt find a solution to how to permanently pin the Bookmark Toolbar to the side of the screen in my version of Firefox which is 129.0.2 in Windows 11. The option to pin the toolbar where the user wants it to appear seems to have vanished. Am I correct?

The only options I can find in Firefox now are Show Toolbar and it will only appear across the top of the screen (unless I Ctrl+B); Show in new tab or Hide.

Ctrl+B will bring up the tool bar, say to the left, but when Firefox is closed and re-opened there is the need to Ctrl+B again to redisplay the toolbar. My experience of Windows 10 was that everytime I opened Firefox my side bar for Bookmarks automatically appeared because I had always been able to pin it there.

Please help to restore the function, if it hasn't been removed through updates.

When I start my browser, after a couple of minutes the search bar completely stops working until I restart it. When I type something and press enter it does'nt load anything and stays on the page it was on, and refreshing doesn't do anything either.

When I browse, my browser lags on p.typekit.net for quite a while before moving on to my destination. I want to remove that lag and the browser going there first. How do I remove p.typekit.net from browser?

When I enter to the website it shows the labels of the cities, countries and all the elements on the map, until it finish loading, then everything desappears. So, after two second you have the map empty with the icons and roads but no name of city or any other element in it, it only happens when using Firefox.

I was registering for a web page & up popped an old deleted email with password. The email was deleted in 2016. I would like that email & any sites I used it for to be deleted from my computer. Microsoft deleted the Hotmail in 2016 so of no use.

I cannot log into spectrum email for the last 2 weeks and I can log in to my email with edge. need help to see why I cant log in to spectrum email using firefox and duck duck go? using my lap top.

For a while now, websites will refuse to load unless I re-launch the browser or swap between troubleshooting mode and regular. To further clarify, the problem persists with both troubleshooting and regular modes. The website itself does not matter, as it happens with every website. When re-launching the browser the website works fine, but the issue might come back on a refresh. Furthermore, it might take several reboots to load the website. I have tried half a dozen different things from a clean install of Firefox to using a few recommended tweaks to the config.

In the last few days, a transparent rectangular panel is showing up in the upper right hand corner when I open certain websites--Washington Post, The Nation, and Talking Points Memo, and this morning Kanopy and the Zojirushi website. It often covers functions like login and search. I can *see* the buttons, but I can't click them through the transparent panel.

Okay, so starting a few months ago, ANY time I try to search Google from my Firefox start/home page... Nothing. It just will not go. It just loads forever. 3 out of 5 times it will not do anything. However, I can go to Opera which has all the same plugins and its totally fine. Most times i open a new tab I know confidently that whatever I try to search for is not going to load.

This keeps up Im gonna uninstall Firefox and just start using Opera full time.

I recently bought a new computer and it imported the bookmarks that I had from my chrome account to Firefox after installing it. I already had a firefox account on my old computer and I signed into the new computer with my firefox account thinking it would make a difference but I am still unable to see my old bookmarks that were on my old firefox. Now the issue is even the firefox on my old computer was also updated with the imported bookmarks from Chrome. Please let me know how to solve this issue and get back my old firefox bookmarks back, please attach screenshots if possible.

Hello, I just got a new macbook air because fluid was spilled on the previous one. The older laptop works but the display is not functioning. So I can't use the migration assistant, which requires responding to screen prompts, which in this case are not visible to me. I also just updated my password. Is there a way to recover this data?

I am having troubles accessing the browser. I get to do endless security check every time I open Firefox for anything. I have to undergo several puzzles "I am not a robot" before any page opens and this happens every time I go on the web. even if I did this a Mn ago am being asked again and not only one puzzle to resolve but sometimes up to 10 in a row. This is so time consuming that I am now considering leaving Firefox to work on other browsers although I always had Firefox as my default browser. Thank you

When going to the Settings tab, Firefox shows me the message "browser is managed by your organisation". However, I am not part of any organisation, since I am a private individual.

• What does this message mean?
• How can I remove this message and regain control over the Settings in MY Firefox?
