I'm on the latest firefox version 151.0.4 and having issues with the built in free VPN. It's showing up in the settings but I don't have the icon in the tool bar to adjust it or do anything. It's definitely enabled because it shows the settings and 50gb remaining of data. I've tried doing the about:config setting for enabling protection as well but that was already set to true. I toggled that and restarted my browser and firefox but neither worked.

I was trying to get rid of the cache of things slowing my mac laptop down. During this I turned on the VPN which said choose a country...i chose canada. now everything i do has canada on it. my searches that used to be for australia are all in cnada, my imgae on the internet has been replaced by a canadian, my weather wont let me look up St Kilda, Victoria Australia...it just takes me straight to toronto. This is a nightmare and making my searches mind blowingly long and stupid. how can i get rid of canada from my system!! please. i am desperate

Hello Im having trouble getting the free vpn showing I tried resting the toolbar and restarting firefox and reinstalling. I dont see it on the toolbar or custom toolbar to drag and drop. Thanks Mike

The VPN is supposed to show in another country, but the website in question does not recognise it is in that country. (BBC iplayer) BBC.co.uk works as it is thinks it is in the UK, but the iplayer does not.

I understand that VPN was progressive roll out, but I have been able to successfully use it for the last two months. Today I upgraded to version 151.0.4 and the VPN icon was no longer up in the toolbar. I thought maybe I did something wrong and went back to customize and put it back on, but it's just not there anymore.

Did you decide to roll it back without warning?

I now do have the VPN button on my toolbar but when I click on "Turn On VPN" nothing happens. I am logged in in my Firefox profile through the VPN settings under Privacy and Security.

I am on Mac OS 15.7.7, Firefox 151.0.1.

Why am I not able to turn on the VPN?

I used the UK location to access BBC Sounds but it advised that I was out of the area (UK). I note that the URL becomes https://www.bbc.com/audio (the international alternative) in stead of https://www.bbc.com/Sounds (the domestic alternative). This prevents me from accessing the radio channels that I am seeking, namely Radios 3, 4 and 4Xtra and iPlayer.

Hi, I'm in Canada and have Firefox fully updated and yet I cannot see the free VPN Icon in the upper right corner of the browser. I have checked the article on why it may not be there, but I am not a part of the studes nor enterprise issues. Furthermore I have signed out and signed back into Firefox. Any idea why I cannot access this feature?

Don't know what happened but suddenly the VPN icon got huge after an update to FF151. It may have happened after I installed Nightly. Don't remember. Any idea how I can fix it?
