Firefox 98.0.1 will not load some web pages that other browsers will. I get a message about Network Protocol Error with the option to "Try Again" which hasn't worked. I've tried many of the fixes suggested here but nothing changes. If I copy the link Firefox won't open and paste it in Brave or Opera the link loads fine. I don't want to quit Firefox but I can't spend time every day trying to fix it either.

This isn't a question about the "Multi-Account Containers" addons, I am pretty sure that there was a section called "Container tabs" in the privacy and security settings, and I could use containers without installing an addon some days ago.

I can still access by directly viewing this address

about:preferences#containers

But I can't find it in the settings, and this feature does no longer work.

So I went to read recent release notes from Firefox 100 to 101.0.1, but I didn't find any notes to say this feature has been disabled. Could this be an unexpected result of an update?

Various website that contain dynamic content are not being rendered by Firefox to display that content. This is happening with websites that provide transportation information and ticketing, including Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines . It is also happening with a genealogical website, FamilyTreeDNA, on pages that should be displaying family tree information. Illustrations of two pages are attached. I have been able to access the information by using Opera on this same computer and operating system, and by using the same version of Firefox installed on a different computer with different operating system. I am not sufficiently proficient with website development to know or understand what type of dynamic content is being generated by these websites, or how Firefox interprets the content. My suspicion is that some Firefox setting has been enabled or disabled, but I do not know which one it would be.

volume and sound will not work since latest updates 102.00. you tube videos and others will not play sound. Only found solution to uninstall and reinstall but still after some week same error occur.

Went to https://wisc.jobs/Pages/Welcome.aspx to apply for a job. When applying from Indeed to the State of Wisconsin, Firefox goes into a loop whereas the other browsers do not. Trying to click the button to apply for a job only works in other browsers.

Ver 102 just downloaded Settings are set to Open link in New Tab, not in a new window.

And I am getting really tired of these constant updates, bringing faults and need to rebuild all my settings each time. It used to be faultless. Now it fails to work properly.

My current Theme is Dark Fox. But, previously my backgrounds and menus were all white and easy to read. Now for some reason they're black and difficult for me to deal with.

How do I reset to white and sync them on all my devices?

This problem started around version 97 (i had a break from computer and went back at v 97) but older versions still had that problem after i revert to it. i did:

• turned hardware acceleration and recommended settings off
• cleared cache and profile few times
• offline and safe mode
• restarting and reinstalling for few times
• installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 (vc_redist.x64.exe).

still hangs up.

Several FACEBOOK games show OVER MAGNIFIED when going into full screen. Some examples are SPADES PLUS and JUNE's JOURNEY. The problem started about 3 weeks ago. The only "workaround" I can find is to try to hit F11 and / or control - . It might take a dozen or so attempts to finally get it to show correctly. The problem does not exist in OPERA or CHROME. ( These browsers have their own unique problems, such as extreme slow response in Spades Plus ).. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times to no avail. I am using a LAPTOP with WIN 7 OS. All has worked well up until about 3 weeks ago.

Hi - I need some help restoring the 100+ open tabs that are in Computer1, and open them AS-IS in Computer2.

To help you understand my story......Computer1 is main machine, and I had over 100 tabs opened in there. I would like to transfer ALL of the open tabs to Computer2, before re-partitioning the C Drive in Computer1.

The problem is, my Computer1's Windows 10 is giving me problems at the moment, so I can not get into the computer by logging in. No recovery or diagnosis method will do the trick, so I will have to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows into Computer1. Besides, the computer was troubling me for having only ~50 MB available space in the C Drive (I have multiple partitions in my hard drive).

For now, I have removed the hard drive from Computer1, attached it in Computer2, and have access to the data in the various Computer1's drives.

I read many articles here in the Support Mozilla help site to restore the 100+ open tabs from Computer1, into Computer 2, but it is not working for me. I even tried copying the entire "sessionstore-backups" folder from Computer1's location, and replacing the same folder in Computer2's location.

Maybe I have to do more than just copying the "sessionstore-backups" folder, like do something additional through FireFox options??

Any help would be appreciated.

I am very disturbed to find out when attempting to log onto the account/ bill payment page of the water utility Pennsylvania American Water - I got a message page that they now only allow access using Google Chrome - nothing else. This presumably all the other American Water Company utilities throughout the USA.

I dont want to install Google Chrome - even my phone is largely de-googled and used Firefox for Android.

Can someone at a high level in Firefox development perhaps contact American Water about this?
