Hello. I experience a problem that occurred 2 days ago. Firefox seems to ignore my preferences of opening previous windows and tabs, also it ignores pinned tabs. Some of websites disappear from the history (let's say i opened few windows to check if tabs will be saved by firefox, closed browser, opened it after few minutes: tabs are gone, history has only few of websites that were open. I tried to look for the problem by myself but failed. I will be grateful for your reply, thank you in advance.

I have Canon EOS Utility installed in order to use a better camera when streaming. For some reason, when I'm using Google Meets, it will only let me use EOS Utility, ignoring the option of using my laptop's webcam. I've tried revoking permission, but when it asks me for permission again it won't show me my laptop's camera, only EOS Uitlity. I've tried disabling EOS Utility under Windows settings, but it's still the only camera that appears.

In the browser settings I use a color preference that replaces white with black, this works with pages where Dark Reader is not available. These settings are needed so that when surfing the web at night with the dark mode on, my eyes don't hurt from contrasting bright white elements with dark-colored pages. For example, it works on single image pages - in situations where except for the image the rest of the page is colored solid white; It also works for some add-ons - on settings pages and pop-ups.

I'm interested in being able to automate toggling on/off the «Use system colors» checkbox, which is in the browser «Color» settings. It would be great to somehow synchronize the activation of night mode in Dark Reader with disabling checkbox responsible for using system colors. Or, for example, make it so that when the «Website appearance» setting is set to «Automatic», the checkbox is switched accordingly together with it - being disabled when the appearance is dark and enabled when it is light.

In a recent Firefox browser update, my ability to reference my home router by name via the Windows HOSTS file stopped. I can ping the router by name from a CMD window just fine but keying the name into Firefox now fails. Images show the two forms of failure - a 500 Error when DNS over HTTPS is enabled; a 'having problems' error with suggestion of www..com alternative when DNS over HTTPS is disabled. Neither is the least bit helpful.

I can't imagine what changed and I can't find a prior support response that gives any clear ideas.

For example, firefox is open in the background and when I click on a url from discord, it opens the link in firefox but does not bring the page to me, I need to minimize the discord.

Hi, lately I have been having issues with updates. When Firefox browser in MacOS gets update, it ask me to sign in to all platforms again. This wasn't the case at all before.

I tried to download a copy of my personal website, Firefox says it has an invalid certificate because https was personally added. Website is with Bowker Identifiers. No problem opening at Bowker. Firefox would accept no form of the URL as being valid.

So then I signed into Mozilla to complain using my gmail account. It appears it is assumed I am opening a new Mozilla account because when I went to add a second email address for security purposes, it says the account already exists - it does! That was the account I accessed using Google to sign in!

Now I will not renew my authorhomepage website because if I cannot access it from my own account with Firefox, who can? Who accesses it regardless of the browser they are using? Very annoying because I will have lost a lot. Can you close out a user from accessing their own online stuff? Do I now have two Firefox account because I updated information?

Several days ago firefox just wouldn't come up and says it is having a problem getting my pages back. I tried downloading it onto my computer, but still same message. I really like firefox, it was quick and easy to use. Chrome is so slow

Hello everyone, My browser opens with two small pop-ups that pops and closes immediately right before the actual firefox window shows up. I have noticed that some time ago and I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening before. I didn't do any updates or add on's (firefox or windows). What could be causing this? Could it be a virus infections? Windows Defender scanner doesn't find any threats. Thanks for any tips and help.

Randomly after certain updates, the browser history gets randomly erased. The cookies are not deleted, so my sign in information is retained across my usual website (no issue here).

I wanted to report this as it happened twice around the past two weeks and it was inconvenient.

When I start my computer I get the following error message: Firefox cannot access C\Program FilesFF\windowsapps\Microsoft windows.cross device_1.24012.0x64_cwsn1...

when I click on links to take me to website through my email in Thunderbird that I will get an error message that reads "we could not verify the certificate, reason=wronghost"

Do you get the error in Thunderbird or in the browser? What browser?

   But, if I copy link and copy into browser it works fine. 

Is that the same browser as the one which opens when you click the link in Thunderbird (a.k.a. your default browser)?

In answer to these questions: I use Chrome or Duck Duck Go. Duck Duck Go is my default browser. If I copy and paste link from email in browser it opens, but if I click on link in email I get the error message above. Also when you reply the email is a do not reply email so I can't reply back. Please include a good email so I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you

In regular web pages, I'm able to hover over an URL / picture w/ URL behind it, etc.... It shows up on the status bar at the bottom of the page (that's what it used to be called). Sometimes I can't.

Somewhere around the same time as I started noticing this, I had just upgraded to a Win11 computer. So, when I try to hover over a suspicious link, I get nothing!

Is there code these people can put in that shields them from hover? So, we can't see what we're getting into? If so, then I presume if I can't hover, don't click... Right?

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.

Firefox search allows a range of useful search engines to be available. About every 2 weeks, Amazon UK is removed from the list available. Then I have to refind it and put it back. Then repeat the process. This is getting boring.

Is there any way this search tool can be nailed into the search options?

I deleted Firefox from my Windows 11 computer because it was having issues. I reinstalled but I did not get back the same settings I have on my laptop. I have tried to do a complete uninstall and remove all Firefox files but, there are files attached to my Avast antivirus that I can't delete. Also when I down load it wont Sync. Firefox is my browser of preference and I do not want to use another browser. I should also note that Firefox has been completely removed from program files, program files(x86) as well as program data but there are still file in Avast and Windows. See picture attached. Help I really love Firefox
