I can log in, then after some time on the browser in and out of a few web pages, I notice I am not logged in anymore. I must have been disconnected, I can never figure out why. And I cannot use my Bitwarden to automatically log in, it takes a while and it happens many times an evening. I have tried isolating and selecting the cookies. That does not seem to help.

Firefox sync never works after waking up computer from sleep mode. I always use my computer with sleep-mode, I rarely shut-down my computer. So I never terminate my Firefox sessions or close it completely. After waking up computer from sleep mode, You are expected to continue working from where you left off. So you continue to sync your bookmarks and so on. But Firefox Sync never synchronizes your bookmarks or data in the situation after waking up computer from sleep mode. It is a big problem. I think Firefox sync service can not handle or recognise the computer sleep-mode.

This is about my Firefox Account in general, not specific to a product.

I just looked into the devices logged into my Firefox Account and noticed that my phone is in there twice. I think this happened because I used Firefox Nightly and Firefox Preview Nightly. When I tried to disconnect the old duplicate there is an error message "Invalid parameter: refreshTokenId" in the popup about the reason. So I can't remove the duplicate.

Missing device in synchonized device list to transfer tabs

I have two computers: one personal (HP), one from my work (MBP). I quit my job a few weeks back but still had my MBP in case they needed something. I continued to use it and I had to return it back yesterday.

I synchronized my tabs using Firefox Sync on the MBP and could see them well on my HP. I formatted the MBP and returned it, without disconnecting my Firefox account. I got back home and tried this morning to load on my HP the tabs I had on my MBP, but it is not listed anymore. (Surprisingly, some other device I didn't touch for 2 or 3 weeks is still listed, even though it's not connected.) I tried on another device to connect my Firefo account, thinking it would propose me to open a session have somewhere else, but the MBP session isn't listed there either.

I can't lose all the researches I made during the last few weeks :S I turned my side project into a full time job, I need them.

Is there any way to retrieve somehow the tabs I had open on the MBP? Is there a way to get from the Sync server any copy they have for my devices? Does Firefox writes to disk what it gets when listing the data of synchronized devices, so I could try to look into the deleted files on my disk?

Help or ideas much appreciated!

Hello,

I pretty much live on my iPad when I am lying down in bed. I use FF on my Win10 laptop so I use FF on my iPad. I have the sync set up but I am unable to Sync tabs across Win10 vers. 77.0.1 (64-bit) and IOS 13.5(17F75) 6 th gen iPad Firefox vers. 26.0(18099). I am a help desk tech with 25 years experience but I have a serious stress wrinkle right now in my life that is hampering my normal functionality; I just suddenly lost my 85 year old mommy (I'm 53 but she'll always be my mommy to me) this week and have already had the funeral. To say my brain and emotions and pschy are all screwed up is a major understatement. I did start doing my own research but I am not processing what I am reading completely normally and can use the compassionate help with troubleshooting.

I have the sync set up and my devices do show up with correct device names. The last access dates are days old however even though I have triggered the sync on all devices (except my iPhone which I barely use for internet and don't need to sync from - I only worry about my iPad).

The only options I see are to "refresh status" and "disconnect device" and I have tried the refresh but the status date doesn't update. I don't know how to reconnect a device if I disconnect and with my head a mess I don't want to "wing it". I do however welcome the distracting project with help. I am attaching a pic of what I see.

All help def appreciated........

Sincerely,

Wonder Woman

My cell phone was recently stolen where I had all the information related to my access and recovery codes for the account I had created with my email.

Unfortunately I don't have a way to get the 2-step authentication codes, and I don't want to mess with more emails and more accounts.

When I use all the options to try to recover my account, it tells me that it will send a verification email to my personal email, but nothing comes.

I want to clarify that I have received emails from accounts@firefox.com for other changes (such as my password), but I have not received the email to verify (again) my account.

I can demonstrate that my (Gmail) email account has been in place for many years, even before I created the Firefox account.

Can someone tell me what else I can do?

I have just set up a Firefox account. I have used the Simple Tab Groups add-on to manage my tabs. I did this on my laptop, but when I sign in to my Firefox account on my desktop, the tabs have not be transferred over. In fact none of the tabs are the same. I have clicked Sync multiple times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, I have changed my account password. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Simple Tab Groups add-on. If I am going to use a Firefox account I want all of my tabs, and groups of tabs, to be the same on my laptop and desktop.

Hi folks,

I have endured the sync problem for months. Today I struggled for solving it.

I have a Firefox 68.0.1 esr manual installation on Ubuntu 16.04. The sync worked when I signed in the first time. But the bookmark can not longer be updated afterwards.

If I add or delete a bookmark on my Firefox 68.0.1 esr on Windows 10, the change will not be updated to the Linux version. And vice versa.

On the Linux, I tried to disconnect my account (in the preference about:preferences?entrypoint=fxa_app_menu#sync ). I click "Disconnect" and "Just Disconnect" in the prompt, but the account is still logged in.

Another way I tried is to have a fresh new installation of Firefox 68.9 esr. Then I was asked to sign in again. After typing the password, the new bookmarks were updated. But If I make further changes on the other devices, these changes will not be sync to Linux. And I can't disconnect the account on Linux.

It looks like a new install, which resetting the login process can temporarily solve the problem.

Here is the content of the sync-log file. Can you see what is broken? Thanks in advance.
