After being nagged to update to the latest version of Firefox, i did so thinking all the windows and tabs would be restored. I have been thru multiple updates with with no problems in the past. I have been through most of the self help but nothing works. The restore last session is greyed out.

How do you guys retain your Sync data if I were to reset my password? My computer just got fixed and I don't like this greeting of where all my data like history and bookmarks flushed down because I wasn't signed-in in a device nor did I place a key or something.

I made a change somewhere that caused a total loss of history/open tabs even in my tab manager extension. I can't remember exactly what it was I changed but nothing I have searched here has been helpful in recovering from this. I did not want to bring my profile from home as I am using Firefox here in a work environment. Can someone point me to or explain a step by step method to be able to do this?
