 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

Okay, just an example so I decided to try that KeeopassXC program you were offering but I could never get it to complete.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

Ny first time writing here - if any response please direct suggestions to pke225x2gmail or I guess I will check here. Don't know how you put people with possible solutions to seeker of HELP.

My account was hacked and as a consequence I must go through GOTCHA. I have never had an issue with over use of the site; consequently, I would like the GOTCHA requirement removed.

For years we have been able to login to two different websites running on different ports on the same host with our Firefox browser (The last working version was 102.14.0-3.el7_9) our RHEL 7.x system. When I accessed the different sites, there was two Authentication Decisions, one sending one cert (We will call it CertA) to the system and the other listing sending a different cert (We will call that CertB) to the system, same hostname though.

I updated the Firefox browser to 115.7.0-1.el7_9 and ever since, when I navigate to the first website, it remembers the first Authentication Decision to send CertA to the system and works as intended. Then, I try to navigate to the second site and I never get prompted to pick a cert for the second site (CertB is what it should prompt for) and the connection attempt fails with a "Secure Connection Failed, Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNKNOWN_CA_ALERT" message.

If I go and delete the Authentication Decision for CertA, then go to the CertB site, I get prompted for the cert decision and I am able to login just fine. But, then if I try to go to the CertA site, I get the same error listed above.

I can use a band aid to check the "History > Always use private browsing mode" checkbox (Which never remembers the Auth. Decision) option in Firefox, then have to remember to close the browser each time I want to navigate from one site to the next. But I have never had to do that in the past and wondering if this is a new bug or if it is somehow considered a "Security Feature" or something.

I searched around the net a bit and couldn't find a way to manually add an Authentication Decision myself. Is that possible somehow with a config file edit on our Linux system somewhere?

I'm currently consuming APIs hosted on an external server using Java( or any other server side language), and everything works smoothly. However, when attempting to consume the same APIs in JavaScript, I encounter the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error.

After some research, I discovered that browsers implement security checks leading to this issue. Can anyone advise on how to disable these security checks or resolve this issue when accessing the website in the Firefox browser? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have tried using autofill for credit cards. The pop up to enter a password pops up and I fill that in. The credit card options are there and I click on the one I want and nothing fills in. I went to settings to turn off the request for authentication, unticked the box, and see no where to save that. When I refresh the screen, the box is once again ticked.

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

What i performed by GPO. Password Manager -Disabled

Currently, there appears to be only one option to tell Firefox to open a given site in a specific container; that is, from the URL bar, to the right.

Would it make sense to have this configuration option presented in "edit bookmark" and/or in a right-click pulldown menu "Always open in this container"?

So, i transferred to my new PC I had a recovery key, and about a lifetime worth of passwords on my account. I exactly followed these steps:

Reset your password with your account recovery key

If you forgot your password and need to reset it, follow these steps.

   Click the Forgot your password? link on the sign-in page.
   Check your email and click the password reset link in it.
   Enter your account recovery key.
   Create a new password.
   Create a new account recovery key. 

Now, my recovery key became my new password and my account is blank. Great. Have a good time!

Update 123.0 deleted all my firefox data from logins.json. backup files are corrupted or have no data. No support article suggestions have worked. The .json files indicate that there is data, but appears blank in notepad, and wont load in json reader in firefox

I do not use SVG

I use OnlyKey usb key as FIDO2 MFA with most of my accounts. On Firefox 123.0 on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) however, I get presented with multiple pop ups to touch my usb key but the key expects only one input/touch and it fails when I touch it the second time. This was not the workflow that I used to use before and it still works fine on MacOS ventura with Firefox + protonmail.

In some recent update firefox privacy and security settings changed from saved logins to saved passwords. I find this much less useful. Can i change back to saved logins?

Hey there, I have recently completely formatted my pc as it was kind of slow.I then reinstall Mozilla fore fox login as turn on sync and had to login to steam but as i was logging in i forgot password so i checked my passwords as it was saved in Mozilla fire fox previously but i didn't see any saved passwords not only form steam i didn't see a single password of different websites saved on it is there any way to get those passwords back (i had already made an account and saved passwords on it but after re-installation I login to my fire fox account and still see no passwords). A quick help will be very much appreciated
