Hi,
is there any support inside FF for S/MIME secured mail?
I´m currently a member of an organisation that have choosen to use Outlook Web App as an email client. But when using this on FF I can´t find how to install encrypted mail with S/MIME.
Is there any more people using Outlook Web App who have solved this problem?
Best regards Anders

The list of exceptions that I saved includes ALLOW for Session for a website that saves 5 cookies, two 3rd party cookies and 3 websites for tracking content, as listed in the Shield for the website. However, the Shield also shows that ALL of these tracking websites and cookies as Blocked, while I had to Allow them as exceptions. Otherwise, the website would not function.
Is this what the Shield it is meant to display (show ALL cookies as blocked, when in fact they are Allowed) ?
Also, is there a way to copy out, export or at least print the list of websites under Exceptions? I am concerned that somehow they are deleted (I was reading that Refresh deletes them, maybe something else does that too) and it took me quite a lot of experimentation to figure out what is that I have to allow for websites I need vs. what I can safely block, when blocking ALL doesn't do the job.
Thanks.

As the title says, no matter what website I go to, my browser doesn't show the popup requesting access to my webcam/microphone like normal. I'm using a Logitech BRIO 4k external webcam, and while my computer recognizes the device and webcam-utilizing applications function like normal, Firefox does not.
All help is appreciated. Happy holidays.

I add an extension (add on - Roboform Password Manager) but when I decline Firefox options to use my data and url, they don't allow me to use the add on and my only options is either remove the add on or re-visit and allow them to use my data and whatever URL I have to browse. Mozilla Firefox is my default browser and this is the only time I encounter this since I reformat my hard drive system,.
Hi,

I have successfully disabled (Block autoplay audio video) audio video of meet.google.com still the meetings showing the audio and video of my audiences. I tried various tips and tricks but no avail. On google chrome these privacy settings works like a charm, if I disable audio, video of a site it doesn't let the site stream/play any video on the tab I opened. In Firefox the feature is there but it does not work.

I just went in a day or so ago and deleted all other suggested search engines besides Firefox and/or Duckduckgo and just now when I came in to search for something the menu dropped down and all the stupid search engines were showing up again therein, so I had to go in and re-delete them! This is extremely annoying and clearly invasive on their part!!! I didn't think to do a screen shot of it before I deleted them but this is the page I am talking about!.

Hi... I'm not a computer expert by any definition. I know my way around some apps and try to follow computer and internet best practices. I've used Firefox for a couple of years and have been satisfied with it... However lately I've been thinking about how I can ensure that when I communicate on the internet nothing is left on my computer, either where I've been or who / what type of communication has taken place. I perform several financial transactions daily with institutions local and out of country. I know of a very recent issue one person I know had on their PC, They lent it for use to someone they know and they were able find history of communications and email addresses etc. It was a very difficult situation for that person when their email was hacked and websites tracked from a person / persons unknown. I've turned on the Firefox option of deleting all history and cookies and have done that in Windows internet options (at least as far as I can determine). Based on what I've done, is there anywhere on my PC where internet communication is stored that I can remove when I've finished using the internet? My internet provider is Bell.
many thanks BEH

Hi, first of all we are happy with Firefox,my question is about: I turned almost all search enigines of but still all startup in the back, how do I know, how do I see this? When is use my CCleaner and look at start ups/Brouwser plug-ins under the Mozilla Firefox topic I see all on (Wikipedia, Bol.com, DuckDuckGo, Ebay, Marktplaats and more) and everytime I click them off they apear nexttime . just want to start with less as possible and never use to sites, at "Search" in options at the Firefox brouwser I deleted all search engines exept Google. Closed them severaltimes by Ccleaner but keeps coming back. So the question is how do i get those extensions off for real so i don't see them working at CCleaner.
Thnx in advance and have a Merry Hoho all and best wishes for the New year.
Greetings from Amsterdam

Installed Firefox 83 on MacBook Air (2017) running macOS 11.0.1. Tried signing in to a old Firefox account on att.net and needed a verification email. Went to email and it was there , arrived correct att.net account and time but said device to verify was running macOS 10.16 and the IP address was wrongful the computer I was on. So set up new account and that went ok. When tried to set up secondary email got same problem in email that was sent, wrong MacOS and wrong IP address in sent email.
Is it ok to just ignore the OS and IP address and go ahead since the information comes in right when expected for the right email account? His it asking to verify a IP address for Firefox that I do not know how to find? I think the last computer I pulled Firefox up on was running Mac 10.something so is it just confused with the last time I used the browser?
I am older and not very computer savvy so answers need to be simple. If you can help me I would appreciate it.

No matter what I've tried I cannot get Firefox (updated always) to fill in my street address along with all the other information it fills in when I use autofill? That is the only thing that is left empty and it is always left empty no matter what site I land on. I've tried deleting the saved addresses and reinstalling new ones and editing and writing them over and no matter what I've tried it will not fill in my street address? What can I do please? I was going to add a picture but then all my info would be available to everyone and anyone.

Hello,
We have a compagny delivers us software certificates in PKCS # 12 format, encrypted in AES 256. The import of this file is OK in the Micorsoft certificate store. However, importing this same file into Firefox certificat manager does not work, with the following error message: "Failed to decode the file. Either it is not in PKCS # 12 format, or it is corrupted, or the password is incorrect."
For information, if we do the same procedure with a PFX encrypted in 3-DES, it's ok to import it into Firefox.
We tried with the following 2 versions of Firefox, same result.
- 82.0.3
- 78.5.0 ESR
For information, if we do the same procedure with a PFX encrypted in 3-DES, it's ok to import it into Firefox.
Do you have any idea of this bug to know the origin / possible corrections?

I would like to know how to see if a tracking or other 'analytics' code are within a received email.
For instance, if I receive an email from a company, how can I see what code they use to record the opening of that email? Or, would I have to click on an embedded link for them to get that data?
