Normally there is no difficulty searching a pdf with a pdf reader. How does one do it in Firefox?

Note that ctrl+shift+f and ctrl+f do not work.

I keep trying to add Honey extension using Firefox. It shows that I have downloaded the extension, but it is not working. I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Thank you!

In the bookmark-bar in my Firefox-installation contains the soft-button for the function "Import bookmarks". I do not need this function always showed in the bookmark-bar. How can i remove it ?

Is Firefox will support this feature ? Or at which version will support ?

I moved my old hard drive to a new ssd. Everything works but Firefox . I uninstalled and reinstalled when i try to use it I put in a search term hit enter and nothing happens. Also the drop down on right side nothing can be used

When I did the reinstall a error message came up about The code execution can not be found because VCRUNTIME 140-1 was not found reinstall Firefox again I did that did help

This problem just started today. I am very angry. what is going on with Firefox? Websites are filled to the brim with annoying ad's. and you tube videos are constantly interrupted with ad's!!!!! What is with all the ad's? This problem has not existed until today. Please STOP this! And, No, I can not just wait a few seconds then click on "skip ads" because I am looking at videos on a computer screen while sitting away from the computer in a chair so constantly having to get up, walk to the computer, click on "skip ads", walk back to my chair is an annoyance! Just stop with all the ads!

I use firefox since I go to college. When I got some problems, I try to check firefox use what to pick folder? I use Manjaro Plasma. I find chrominum use kdialog. But firefox looks not though both use gtk3 as UI

Firefox choose folder got wrong when use a USB HDD

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.

So this morning (5/4/2022) I start the computer (desktop) Win 10 Pro, 64 bit and Firefox will not connect.

Checks: I verified that my phone connects to my wireless; I verified that email is connecting; I verified that Chrome is connecting.

I did the following:

I refreshed Firefox -> Firefox will not connect I started Firefox in troubleshoot mode -> Firefox will not connect I uninstalled and then restarted my computer and then reinstalled -> Firefox will not connect

Further, the once working about:config update to reinstate compact menus has no effect (why not test for a mobile OS before expanding the menus...?) Regardless, this secondary for the moment.

What to next is a mystery to me. Firefox has become so troublesome that it is almost not worth it to continue fighting with it.

In the last days I couldn't create shortcuts on SOME pages with drag and drop as I did usually. Today I formated the PC to start fresh, the problem remains!

examples: - https://flogarecords.com/store/shop/lp-mlp/sakis-tolis-among-the-fires-of-hell-lp-red-white-haze-exclusive/ When I try to create a shortcut with drag&drop a folder is created named: "SAKIS TOLIS - AMONG THE FIRES OF HELL LP (RED" And the shortcut is included inside.

The above are happening in SOME pages, not in all shortcuts. When I try to create the shortcuts on Opera they are created just fine. Perhaps that has to do with a bug in some update (windows or firfox)

I can only save (not open) Gmail attachments after the latest update and JPG is not showing up in my the Applications section of Settings/General so I cannot fix it.

This has happened one time too many guys, every update but this time half the items I would normally get as an attachment are no longer listed in the applications menu.

If I cannot get a fix quickly I will be forced to move to Chrome (which I REALLY hate the idea of). I see 25 - 80 emails a day and it is mission critical that I can open and view email attachments without having to save them.

A little help??

When I modify my website, the updated version shows fine in CHROME and EDGE but shows my old version in Firefox. I cleared browser cache, hit reload numerous times, relogged, all the usual things I could think of.

Have any helpful info?

Since an update several days ago I am unable to link to sites or email addresses I receive in emails. Serious time waster. Also in some accounts I have had for years they don't recognize my password any longer when I try to log in via a link from an email.

My Grandson loaded some type of coupon app and every time I log into some type of store etc. I get this coupon discount, he said it was on Mozilla Firefox. I want to delete it but I can't find it, can you help?

I wonder why the latest browser does not have a Home Button.It is easier to close the blank browser with the Home Button.Closing the blank browser helps the system restart smoothly in the next session.

I could'nt play Netflix or Amazon videos on my Firefox browser, I have an old MacBook pro OS 10.9.5 (it's the last operating system I can use.. I have photoshop 6 and it won't work on any further OSs) I went to update Firefox, was not sure what version it was. and my computer asked" replace current version of Firefox with New" , I said yes, it did.. and then after I downloaded it, I noticed there was a circle with a slash going thru it on Firefox Icon, when I tried to open new firefox , it bascically said will not work with this OS. I could not go back and lost firefox alltogher, which also had my prefernces and autofill passwords etc. I went to Mozilla site to see if I could find an older version of firefox.. This is what I found : Firefox version 78 was the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users were moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update.

I downloaded it and it said It will not work on my OS, So, How can I basically get the same firefox I had or whatever the last version that works on my computer..and best case senario save my prefernces and passwords, which maybe might have been saved somehow when I tried to change in the begining .. thanks so much for your help.
