Hello, I've noticed that in the very latest versions CTRL+F5 is much less efficient.

I'm using Developer Edition, 80.0b5. When I press CTRL+F5 websites very often don't reload css.

I can check this by opening the source code and opening the css file, it still shows the old version. If I press CTRL+F5 directly inside the css file, then it updates, but still the page itself won't load the updated version right away.

If I use a private window, I see all updates immediately.

Sometimes after hitting CTRL+F5 many times it will finally update.

This never happened before, is this a bug, does anybody else experience this, is there a fix?

Thanks.

For some reason, I've noticed the volume meter in the Windows Volume Mixer shows Firefox outputting higher then what's actually going through the speakers. I double-checked this wasn't just a weird driver issue/Windows 10 being weird by trying some other programs which all seem to be outputting fine, but Firefox for whatever reason is the only application doing this. I've included a screenshot of a YouTube video playing, when I try the same video on a different browser, this weird issue doesn't happen.

Recently (within the last two weeks) I've noticed that my mouse cursor will randomly jump to the upper corner of my screen while viewing a page within Firefox. From my observation it's only happening within Firefox, and the only variable I can think of is that I started using containers to visually differentiate my tabs. I've since tried to revert back, but the problem persists.

I'm running a Surface Book (Gen 1) with dock and multiple monitors. If there's any additional information needed to better diagnose the problem I'm happy to supply it if it means finding a resolution.

Current version of FF:

I have html code from a previous, old, project that did run on an office intranet that used Firefox as our internet browser. It's totally basic html. I've tried to get the html code to run on my PC on this current FF browser and it just does not, nor are there any error codes. WHY?

My html has exactly the same opening and closing items as you can see in the book on html for "Dummies."

I need to see the code in operation so I can update to a new project I'm starting. What do I do?

If anyone wants to see my code, I'll gladly post it.

Thanks,

Pat
