In english (googletranslate):

Hello! Please help with the problem. (the owner of the computer will kill me)

Situation: The firefox browser crashed and does not want to start even in safe mode. I would like to completely restore the previous session without loss.

I cannot do the cleaning that support recommends in such a situation, since a lot of important user information will be lost (and the computer is not mine, and if I erase everything, it will be very ugly, apart from what I get))) and there are important for me open, but not saved in the bookmarks tabs that were looked for over a long period and which I would like to restore. I think the problem could have arisen due to the opening of a large number of tabs - about 20. (Although the computer, although old, is powerful and it has memory, in other browsers I opened many more tabs and launched more powerful programs). Maybe you can somehow get into the session itself saved somewhere, remove errors there and prescribe so that it will restore the 10 tabs I need, and not 20? Or else to do something else so that everything goes without losses (and with a guarantee that everything will definitely not collapse at all)?

Help me please.

The version is the latest, all extensions have been disabled, OS is Windows 7 maximum. Drop ID: bp-ce9c895f-9255-4aa7-b57b-2394b0201028

Thanks in advance))

When using Firefox - When I open Microsoft Onedrive and then try to access my "personal vault" it locks up my computer. Just started doing this yesterday. If I open other files that are on Onedrive everything works as it should. Part of the problem might be when onedrive says my identity needs to be verified Firefox does not allow me to access the screen to verify my identity. When using Window's browser no problems everything works as it should.

Renewed with ISP and now am getting "up to" 600 Mbps download speed. I have a wired connection. I actually get over 700 on Opera, and about 550 on Chrome. With Firefox, I usually get about 280. I feel certain it is the browser - that is the only difference. Even wireless is fast. I have already tried different router ports, cables, disabling add-on's, etc. My version is up to date. I wonder if there is some setting I need to adjust to get the higher speeds. My preference is to stay with this browser, but not at the cost of speed. Appreciate any help!

I have Intel CPU laptop with 16GB ram, Windows 10 (1903) I have Firefox running with roughly 40 tabs open. Task manager says it takes around 1 GB Ram It also says that 8 GB system memory is still free. When I start virtual machine in VMWARE (ver. 16) I get a problem. (VM is configured to use 6 GR of RAM.) VMWare reports an error when opening the vdmk file for some reason. If I click on retry usually system crashes. (no message, just black screen, never responding). In some cases it responds after several minutes but crashes later. Sometimes Firefox crashes, it simply disappears from screen.

I tried to investigate what could be the reason and I tried different combinations but this happens only when Firefox is open. If I have any other memory intensive programs open and I open VM it never crashes.

Anybody having the same issue?

Thanks for help

Following a recent update to windows 10, when I try to load a webpage in Firefox, it just loads forever. It never moves from the Firefox homepage, but the loading dot moves about. I have left it loading for about half an hour before closing Firefox, at which point I get an request to send a crash report to Mozilla.

I've tried refreshing and reinstalling Firefox, with the same problem. It only occurs with Firefox, no other browser

I can't recall if I used Firefox successfully after the update, but I only noticed having this issue this morning, a day or two after the update

Any ideas?

Hi everyone,

From few weeks (two or three) I encounter a problem in specific conditions.

A/ Description of the problem

In my application developped in angular, I send some requests (POST, GET, PATCH) to my API (hosted on the same server). Since few weeks, a specific request is not properly handled by firefox. The request is sended to the API, but it doesn't appear in the "network" tab of the inspector (opened with F12), so that my application can't get the return of the API.

B/ More in depht

More precisions about the problem : - the server use HTTPS with auto-signed certificate - the request is called as POST - the array of posted data is more than 10 short elements sized - the API return a message in few minuts (the app wait correctly the return)

C/ What I tested before ask here ? - Using a different navigator (exclude a programming problem) --> works - Try to make an other POST request, here for login (works fine) (exclude API or security problem) --> works - Using a old version of firefox (62) --> works fine - Then update to actual firefox version (82.0.2) --> doesn't works anymore - Using "private navigation" --> works - Delete cached data and cookies --> doesn't change anything - When I'm developping I use a local webserver for the web application, but the target API is the same --> works (and using same version of firefox)

D/ The request doesn't appear in the network tracker tab This THE mysterious point : when I launch the network tab, I can see all requests sended by my application. I GET my differents pages fine, I can log-in fine using POST (and I see this request), but when I would launch the other POST request : firefox doesn't catch any new request. In normal case, firefox catch the request and waits for a response ; but now : there's nothing.

I join you screenshots in both normal & private navigation modes. In private navigation mode, we can see that firefox handled the POST request and waits for response In "normal" mode, when can't see the POST request, but we can see that a PATCH request works In addition, the last image show the access.log of the Apache2 server, and we can see that the API give the response (but firefox doens't see that)

I don't very know where to search now, this is why I post my message here, I hope someone helps me ! :) Thanks in advance and sorry for english mistakes !

I am a recent Firefox user and have discovered that i am unable to log in to my Godaddy account using the browser. I have changed some privacy/security settings so I'm sure something that I did there is the cause, but I'm unable to determine what.

I've loaded Firefox in safe mode and still had the issue so I don't think it's any add-ons. I've also turned off enhanced tracking protection for the site and added it to my exceptions in the cookies settings so I'm not sure what else to try.

Is there a way I can debug and see exactly what's causing the issue?

Thanks!
