Etter siste oppdatering av Fiefox, forsvant all historikk. Hendt en gang tidligere, men da fikk jeg ordnet det med en tidligere profil. Denne gangen gikk det ikke. Finnes det nå måte på å finne historikk eldre enn 6 mnd?

Every time I browse incognito mode and download files (pdf mostly), then I exit the browser and my files disappear from the Downloads folder in Windows 11. It has been like this for a long time now. I have to remember to cut and paste them to another folder before shutting the browser down, but when I forget it's annoying. Can this be fixed?

It is sort in the background like a page behind the main screen I am viewing but it causes Firefox to crash. I have seen other posts say disable hardware acceleration, but mine is disabled, others say disabled extension, but I only have ublock! It is not my graphics card as it is all up to date. My laptop is new 6 months old.

This brings up something I have been trying to fix for more than a year. When I click on the email link "Start with a free scan", google.com appears at the bottom left and nothing happens, not just with your link but with all. I have waited many minutes just to see if it will link. Sometimes, after minutes, it connects. I have been trying to get Google out of this in "mailto" but cannot. If I right click "open in a new page", google does come up, the target site does (I think) and we move along normally.

Can't you fix this? Google it and you'll see it everywhere. Mozilla has a suggested approach online which does not work. Please help all the AVG and Firefox folks who suffer with this.

Firefox does not automatically create a new empty window on startup. Neither starting from "applications" nor clicking icon in the dock

Instead once has to right click the icon then click "New Window"

Why is it that the people who "improve" products are always dickering with the look and feel to no benefit to the user? Why suddenly does a new empty window not open? Fantastic job Mozilla. It takes me an hour or so to figure out how to even get a window with the default web page URL and then I have to perform forever after three clicks instead on one.

I have a suggestion. The next time you think about changing the look and feel: DON'T. It is just that simple. DON'T.

Hi I have been using Firefox for the longest time and never had any issues, recently whenever I try to open the browser it crashes, I am currently using an early 2011 MacBook Pro, funny thing is all the browsers are crashing apart from the crappy safari. Is my hardware too old?

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

when I click on links to take me to website through my email in Thunderbird that I will get an error message that reads "we could not verify the certificate, reason=wronghost"

Do you get the error in Thunderbird or in the browser? What browser?

   But, if I copy link and copy into browser it works fine. 

Is that the same browser as the one which opens when you click the link in Thunderbird (a.k.a. your default browser)?

In answer to these questions: I use Chrome or Duck Duck Go. Duck Duck Go is my default browser. If I copy and paste link from email in browser it opens, but if I click on link in email I get the error message above. Also when you reply the email is a do not reply email so I can't reply back. Please include a good email so I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you

Using Mac OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 and Firefox 75.15.0 esr

I have a number of desktops defined in "spaces" and each app goes into one. Something odd has happened with Firefox.

When I select a different Window from the Window dropdown, or from the Dock, sometimes there is a "sliding sideways" effect.

And if I go into Firefox by going to the Dock and tapping its icon - it goes to one window; BUT if go to the Dock and tap again, it changes to another window. I think, always the same two.

So its sort of behaving like "spaces" does, but when I view all the "desktops" in the selection view at the top of the screen, I only see one containing Firefox windows.

Its really annoying when the window changes like that, and I don't know how to get them into a single grouping. I have quit & reopened many times, but it persists.

If I knew which of the Firefox Windows were in each of these glitchy "pseudo-groups" then I might quit all of one group, and then re-open them. Not sure if there are just two such pseudo-groups, or more.

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.

Hi, lately I have been having issues with updates. When Firefox browser in MacOS gets update, it ask me to sign in to all platforms again. This wasn't the case at all before.

The PTL network stopped working for playing live tv, it's the only live broadcast I have trouble with, all other PTL network features work fine, it does not matter what performance setting is used.

I have the same problem https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1421734 it's not a pdf. If I want to print a shipping label from eBay using Firefox nothing happens if I try to make it bigger. I can make it smaller but it is too small to begin with. If I use Brave or Edge (using the same printer) it works I can adjust it and make it bigger up to 200 %. I have already reset the printer options in Firefox and tried when disabling all add-ons.

When you switch the language in a text field, the focus on that text field is lost and the focus goes to another browser tab. This only happens if at this time a video is playing in mozilla in picture in picture mode with the Always on top option enabled. How to fix it? (Ubuntu 22.04)

Firefox is frequently deleting entries made on websites. I am entering information in boxes (like this one) on websites when suddenly FF bails out, the data vanishes off the screen and leaves me back where I started. It happened several times attempting to post this question. This seems to have something to do with hitting a key or the space bar--but what and why eludes me. I have tried changing settings on trackpad and mouse without any impact. Although this is a recent issue with a new computer, the issue does not occur using the same computer on Chrome. Any ideas?

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

In devtools when i search in all resources it takes 2+ minutes to find all of the matches, while chrome is near instant, same website. theres around 200 requests. On my laptop it completes faster though so im a little confused.
