I cannot add a secondary email address to Firefox Monitor.

Adding a secondary email address sends a confirmation email to that address.

When I click the 'Verify my email' link that it sends, a page opens with "Error: Verification token is required".

I got the email about Firefox Monitor, entered my email, then my pw, and got "Error: Invalid session." First, I have no idea what that means. Second, I am immediately discouraged from having anything to do with Firefox Monitor. Don't I have enough hassles in my life?

Today May 25, 2020 my wife rec'd email <breach-alerts[at]mozilla.com> from Firefox Monitor warning of a data breach at the Artsy web site. She doesn't use the Artsy web site and doesn't have Firefox installed on her laptop or phone. I Googled for "Firefox Artsy data breach" and did not find a report of a data breach at Artsy. We assume this is a phishing email, but I wanted to check with Mozilla to verify my conclusion. I do use Firefox on my laptop, and I haven't received a similar email. Whenever i create an account anywhere, i use an email address with a tag unique to the service appended to the end. For instance, the email address I used here is firstname.lastname+mozillasupport@gmail.com. I do this to be able to automatically put incoming emails in various buckets, and also to be able to mute emails from specific senders or see which services sell my address on to spam spewers.

In firefox monitor, this creates a problem, because as far as Firefox is concerned I use hundreds of different email addresses, whereas in reality they are all the same address just with different tags.

So I would be massively helped by the following feature: When you add an email address to Firefox Monitor, there is a checkbox that says "Include address variations". When adding the address firstname.lastname@gmail.com with the checkbox checked, any variation of that email address should also be considered added, e.g. firstname.lastname+dropbox@gmail.com firstname.lastname+netflix@gmail.com firstname.lastname+hbo@gmail.com

Bonus feature: Support for service specific quirks - the checkbox would also be aware of quirks various email providers have. E.g. for gmail addresses the dots are optional. So when adding the address firstname.lastname@gmail.com with the aforementioned checkbox checked, the address would also match firstnamelastname@gmail.com.

I just signed up for Firefox Monitor. Most of the accounts it says were breached are ones I recognize, and I have changed my passwords. However, it also says there were data breaches affecting two sites I do not have an account with at all (Whitepages and Verifications.io). What do I do about those, since I haven't got an account (I don't even know what Verifications.io is), so I don't have a password to change.

Could someone please throw some light on the firefox monitor please? Not sure whether I should sign up to it? any help much appreciated. A merry Xmas to everyone. thank you jules

Hi.. many times today I have tried to sign up for the Monitor Report but the verification email doesn't/can't come through to my xtra.co.nz address. This is the address that Monitor says has been breached. My gmail address is fine and it can receive the verification emails. I have Firefox 64.0.2 Mac El Capitan 10.11.6 iMac 27" desktop As you will see from the screenshot it shows the report but then when I fill in the address to have it sent to me nothing happens. I've checked Preferences and made sure I have made the site an Exception and have Allowed it. And when I click on the little "i" next to https it shows Permissions "Allow". Also it shows the address was breached on Technic which seems to be a Minecraft site but I went on a couple of different Minecraft sites and now can't log into any of them ( so far ). Haven't used them for ages yet there was a breach in Nov 2018. I need to be able to get into the site to delete info ( was for granddaughter ). Thank you , Susan

I use Network Monitor to see the URL's that websites are using internally. There's a site which seems to have been written to circumvent this functionality. If I access the site while the Network Monitor is up, the Network Monitor automatically switches to the Debugger. When I switch back to the Network Monitor, the site hangs until I close the Network Monitor and then the site proceeds. It appears that the site has a way of detecting that the Network Monitor is up. Is there a way to make it so the web page cannot detect that the Network Monitor is up and cannot take control of it?

Firefox monitor (or Have I Been Pwned) says my account was involved in Adult FriendFinder (2016) www.adultfriendfinder.com data breach. I never had an Adult FriendFinder account, i think this account was created using data (my email address) illegally collected and used without my authorization. Maybe this account was created by adultfriendfinder.com itself, or by Have I Been Pwned, i don't know. Firefox says these data has exposed: password, email address, other informations like language, name Let me know these data so i can verify, or stop trusting a site that publishes questionable articles to disturb people, they are using you and you are not making a good impression

When I initially set up Firefox Monitor, I added 5 email addresses to this service.

After a couple of weeks I would like to add another email address. However, I am not able to find a field to add a new email address.

When going to monitor.firefox.com and logging in, all I can see is the dashboard showing numbers of email addresses and breaches. The button to manage email addresses only leads to a page where I can delete the existing addresses, but not inserting a new one.

Maybe it is just too obvious and I'm blind. Please help.

When trying to login to Firefox monitor, redirect to https://accounts.firefox.com is done. I sign in with my existing account. When then pressing "Sign In", the following error appears:
