Hello, I'm in Italy on a Windows 7 pc (no proxy). When I use the address bar to perform a search on Firefox, I'm directed to google.com instead of google.it and this shows the results of foreign sites. For example, if I write "Amazon" in the Firefox address bar, I see the results of Amazon.com and not Amazon.it. Or if I write "pizza" I get out the international results and not those in Italian. Is there a way to correct this problem? If it does not exist, unfortunately I have to switch to Chrome which works well even when working on the address bar. In the link below the screenshots of the pages opened on Firefox and on Chrome: https://imgur.com/a/o9tVNzA

I've told the pc my location address, with no effect. I do know the gps coordinates of where I am but don't see anyplace to input it. it seems most sites work off gps-device input (like a smartphone) or ip address of the isp which does not fit the reality of where I am. I've seen this as a common complaint in windows10 etc.

This is not a problem on Internet Explorer. When I pull up the startup page for Firefox, and open a website, I see numbers in sequential order after each word. I have tried the help menu, installed and re-installed Firefox. I have made no progress in correcting the issue. I am working in Window 7 on a desk top computer.

After many middle click links or "right click open in tab" issues with FF recently, or last year almost. I think it might be down to issues of creating the gfx visual drawing of tabs in the main window frame.

Im no programmer but using procmon and beer, have noticed that over time FF will struggle to get over few "tab open" numbers and refuses to open tabs or open blank doa tabs. If open enough tabs past that number, usually by middle click spam, it will open the tab eventually. It seems to follow the same middle click spam pattern and issue will pass eventually, along with procmon showing activity and not just sitting there.

Procmon generally shows lot of activity opening tabs but when it hangs/shows doa tab it does nothing in procmon. My beer guesstimate is its almost one of the 1st steps on middle click thats breaking flow.

I can get no further than the landing page on citibank.com

For instance, If I try to access my FICO score on CITI, my browser appears to switch to a new page, but then locks up completely and I need to do Ctrl Alt Delete, then delete Firefox operations.

I am NOT using Adblock Plus on the Citi site I am allowing Tracking content on the Citi site I am allowing AdobeFlash current version 31.0 r0 on the Citi site

Nothing seems to get me past the Citi landing page and always results in Firefox locking up.

I've been having this problem where Firefox just fails to start. I click the desktop icon and nothing happens. No errors, no messages, no window flashes, just nothing. The process does *not* show in the task manager. There are no extensions or themes installed.

It does run in Windows safe mode. Firefox's own safe mode makes no difference. The only (very temporary) solution I've found is to uninstall Firefox, delete the program folder by hand and reinstall Firefox. But that only tends to work for a day or so.

I've run malware and virus scans on the computer, progressively closed running processes, installed the beta version of Firefox. Nothing works.

So about a week or so ago I got a second-hand Lenovo Yoga 500. The owner bought it in 2016 and then sold it to me on eBay. I'm very happy with it, but I've been noticing that, while the Pentium chip is zippy enough most times, Firefox seems to slow it down considerably. Chrome does it to a lesser extent, and I haven't tested Microsoft Edge. To fix the problem, I have tried:

-Refreshing Firefox -Running in Safe Mode -Toggling hardware acceleration -Decreasing the number of tab processes -Force disabling accessability. -Updating the BIOS.

Nothing works! Does anyone have a solution. about:config muck-arounds accepted.

I have a site that I log into to check the status of my solar panels (https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com). There is a bar graph in 15-minute increments that you can scroll over with the mouse (there is also another page at the site that does the same thing, but different type of table)and this is not working with Firefox. I also cannot click on the arrows to change the day. It was working yesterday. This same thing has happened once before. It was working, then stopped. At some point, it started working again.

Why does my redirect link work when I enter it manually, but not when it's accessed from a link in another site?

I have a website (A) with a link to another page (B). When I put the link for B directly into the address bar, it goes to the page it's supposed to. When I put the hyperlink into the code for A to link to B, clicking on that button goes to a page that has a black background and a single pixel. That incorrect page has the right link in the address bar, but not the page itself.

In case this is needed, A is a presell page that I did not write. B is the affiliate link for an affiliate marketing sales page. When I enter the affiliate link into the address bar and it works, it ends up saying something else in the address bar. Also, I tested it in Internet Explorer and it did work properly there as a link from A to B.

I can provide anything that would help figure this out.

Recently, the LastPass extension no longer offers up a log-in dialog balloon when the LastPass icon is left-clicked. It lust shows a very small, empty dialog balloon. A right click on the icon offers Last Pass as an option, which leads to a separate log-in page for Last Pass. I followed this up with Last Pass and they claim it is a Firefox issue. It did seem to occur right after the last Firefox update... Will try to send a screenshot of what I see when I left click the icon.

Top priority should be improving bookmark aesthetics, or/and making it easier to make extensions changing bookmark aesthetics. Looks very outdated and hard to read. Not easy on the eyes or beautiful like Chrome is.

Also being able to change how bookmarks are added to a folder, such as at top of list or bottom of list. Very simple changes.

I definitively want to keep using Firefox, but this much change because I use bookmarks extensively.
