I keep having to turn password autofill on every time I start Firefox. I don't know why but for some reason it keeps turning itself off every time I close Firefox. This is extremely frustrating, please help

Can we please reduce the size of the mandatory bars up top? Is the Fox going to be like Opera and the rest and make us leave? Why do they want half the screen? They took away the controls and then started making them fat. Right now I have 2/3 screen. Anybody have a solution? I know there is no explanation why they all do this. They never answer. Thanks.

The icon for 1Password is not showing on my toolbar, neither is the one for adblock or Google Scholar or No Miner. How can I get them back? I'm using Firefox version v 115.0.1 on an M1 Mac running Mac OS v 13.4.1. They seem to be within the Extensions iconon the toolbar. Is that their permanent location now?

See image. Why is some manual pages like this and others are normal. This has just started, and the Publication company told me to use chrome because this never happens there. I have less problems with firefox so i stay here but this just started after latest update.

I recently started experiencing errors for logging into third-party websites that use Google sign-in.

On one site (coches.net), I have the sign-in popup loop for like 3 times and then disappear but leaves me unlogged.

On the other site (etoro.com), the sign-in popup shows but then I get an error message from the site about the login. Then it won't let me reconnect since CloudFlare won't accept my "I'm not a robot" prompt and keeps reloading the same page.

This started happening yesterday. I'm not aware of any Firefox or Anti-Virus updates that have happened since, measures not existing yesterday.

I can sign-in correctly from Chrome with no issues.

When a new bookmark is created, it isn't saved in the specified location (which I will henceforth call the "folder").

For example: I'm on a page I want to bookmark, so I select Bookmarks>Bookmark Current Tab. In the Location it already has the folder I want, for example, "Math". I click Save.

Naturally, I expect the bookmark to be saved in the Math folder. But it's not. Instead, it will be in the "Bookmarks Menu" folder (which is the outer folder that contains Math). If I select Bookmarks>Edit This Bookmark, the location will show "Bookmark Menus", not "Math". If I try to use the bookmark, it's in Bookmark Menus. If I then change it to Math, the bookmark will now be saved in the correct folder.

The same thing happens if I select "Choose" when originally creating the bookmark, and then select the folder. The bookmark will be created in Bookmarks Menu.

I've learned to always (or almost always) remember to edit each bookmark after creating it, but it's still a very annoying bug. It's been like that for as long as I can recall, and is still the way in 115.0.1.

Is it possible to permanently set a different search engine for private browsing? I have Google set as my search engine in my normal browsing mode, but I'd like the private browser search engine to be permanently set to DuckDuckGo.

(I realise I can manually set it each time to DuckDuckGo but this is tedious.)

Hello I do not know if anybody is aware of this minor issue but Firefox Screenshot Tool Cause a 1px Space at The Left Side of Image. When you take a screenshot of an image with firefox tool then edit it on photoshop like image editors you will see that a 1px empty space at the left of the image. Attachad image is a screenshot taken by firefox tool see it please.

There's surely no option for it now, but I would like to suggest adding a setting for each user that can affect all or individual add-on extensions : force silent updates. You see, when add-ons get updated, they open a new tab. Now this can be useful or simply interesting, but sometimes it's just obtrusive for people, especially when watching a video. This happened to me a couple of times, I'd be watching a YouTube video on full screen and suddenly the program would exit full screen and switch to a new tab where the add-on page is open, and the video is still playing. I am trying to view a website that is protected by cloudflare and afew days ago I could look at it with out issue now it keeps coming up with Checking if the site connection is secure XXXXXXXX.net needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.

I removed the web sites address from the above as its does this with a few sites

I have tried to view the sites in both Private/incognito Mode and standard window

if some one can help me figure this out I will be most welcome as it means I can view some of the sites I normally see there is a button that says to verify you are human but when I try to click it, it dissapears and starts constantly reloading or just a moment showing

I'm trying to stream my NPR radio station -- https://www.kunm.org/ -- but cannot hear any sound. However, I can hear a tv livestream -- msnbc.com.

I can listen to kunm.org on Chrome and Edge.

How can I listen to my radio station on Firefox?

How do I have all my bookmarks and folders sorted by name automatically and permanently? When I open Bookmarks I want to see the folders sorted and the bookmarks inside each folder sorted, automatically so I never have to manually. In other words, behave like Windows File Explorer.

I'm almost certain I had it working that way on a previous installation of FireFox, but I can't get this new installation of Firefox to do the same.

When using firefox to access my gmail, if I open a page in gmail I am unable to close that page (nothing on that page works freezes). I am unable to transfer that file to my favourites. The only way to close the page is to close the tab, this is not my preferred way of using gmail. Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Mick

I have 8 windows open all the time on my main Firefox, and switching between them is hard because the name is that of the last tab I used, which might not be very human-readable or might be similar to one on another window. It would be great if I could name my windows! Is there a way to do that? If not, could I request that as a future feature?
