I'm running Firefox 102.4.0 ESR (32 bit) on a Win-7 (32 bit) PC.

It works fine. I visit a LOT of websites, it works fine.

Until just now. I'm trying to bring up namecheap.com (a domain registrar) and I'm getting this message:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.namecheap.com. security library failure. Error code: SEC_ERROR_LIBRARY_FAILURE

I'm not given any option to alter any FF settings or to otherwise create an exception to "trust" this site to be able to access it.

I've read where changing security.pki.crlite_mode (currently 3) to something else (like 0) and I've tried that, and unless I have to close and restart FF for that to take effect (which I have not done) then that setting doesn't fix the issue.

What exactly is going on here? Why is only THAT SITE giving me problems?

 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

Ny first time writing here - if any response please direct suggestions to pke225x2gmail or I guess I will check here. Don't know how you put people with possible solutions to seeker of HELP.

Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

When choosing biometrics for 2-factor authentication, sometimes Firefox will only prompt for a physical hardware key, and Touch ID does not work. Support for built-in biometrics is inconsistent.

For reference, I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 with an ARM processor.

My Browser keeps on telling me there is an update... I've updated, reinstalled the latest version and it still keeps giving a pop-up saying there is an update...

How do I get rid of these pop-ups???

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

For about 6 months now, I've been having a strange problem with Firefox leaving behind ghost entries on the Win 11 taskbar.

I have a laptop attached to a dock which is connected to multiple monitors. If I have a FF window open on one of those external monitors and disconnect from the dock, all the tabs that were open in that FF window will become ghost entries on the taskbar. (see attached image).

It doesn't matter if I close FF entirely, these entries remain until I restart the computer. If I click on one of them, it opens up a brand new, blank FF window.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what might be going on? I tried doing some investigating a few weeks back and I remember finding something in the task manager about COM Surrogate that seemed connected, but I didn't get beyond that.

My Windows 10 PC stopped working a few days & is disconnected & partially disassembled. I’m temporarily using an old Windows 7 PC which I brought up from the basement the following day. They both have Firefox on them.

I saved one bookmark on the Win7 PC today. It was there when I looked earlier. Now I went to use it again & it’s not there. But my Win10 bookmarks are there!!

How could that be?

I'd like to organize bookmarks alphabetically, with folders listed first, at the top of the list, followed by bookmarks not saved to folders. How do I do this? An example: Folder A Folder B Folder C Acme Co inc Beta Corp, C corp ...etc

I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and restarted my computer but it still will not load. When i first reinstall it it comes up but will not connect to the intenet.

I think with the update to 125, I no longer see the typical Windows window controls in the upper right - minimize, maximize, close - so I don't know how to do those things.

THe top right looks like this Mac-based image (where those buttons are on the upper left) but I'm running on Windows so I don't have the dot buttons on top left nor the Windows style min/max/close at top right.

What do I need to do to get them back?
