What I cannot see is where he got the video codex that allow Netflix to work on Fire Fox version 88, let alone this newest version that Mozilla has created.

The Firefox desktop browser default font is replacing all fonts on some websites, only title fonts on some others, and then leaving others unchanged. It seems random, and I can't stop the default font from taking over randomly on most websites no matter what I do. This was not happening until today, and no browsers or general MacBook Air preferences were changed between today and yesterday when I last used the browser on desktop.
Under Firefox Preferences » Fonts » Advanced, I've made sure to check the box to "Allow pages to choose their own fonts instead of your selections above", and I've unchecked it, and I've re-checked it, and the default is still overriding fonts on most websites.
I've quit and restarted Firefox 3 times.

since updating to Firefox 99, we are unable to view PDF files in Firefox, because we are unable to select how to handle PDF files in the settings, cf. 1.PNG We don’t have any enterprise policies enabled except for disabling updates, cf. 2.PNG. We tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it did not help, cf. 3.PNG We tried safe mode and an empty user profile, both to no avail.
This problem seems to be irrespective of the user profile because when I roam my user profile to a machine with FF 93 ESR, there is no issue and I can view PDFs in the browser.
Is there any suggestion how to return the built-in PDF viewer?

I have always set my option for all download file types to "Always Ask" and now Firefox not only asks me where I want to save the downloaded file, but also downloads a copy to the Windows Download folder. Why am I getting double downloads? I only want one copy of a downloaded file, not two copies. Now I have to go to my Windows Download folder and delete the duplicate downloaded files. My question is, if my Firefox download option is set for all file types to "Always Ask", then why are you downloading the file twice??? I have specific folders where I want files to reside. I don't want to have to remember to go to my Windows Download folder and delete the duplicate files. How can this duplicate file download problem be fixed?

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

So, for a few months now, the preview panel in Firefox has been popping up with every successful download of a file from online. Its a bit inconvenient because anytime it pops up, it basically tabs me off a page and interrupts my writing or the like. This wasn't an issue last year when after successful downloads, the downloads icon in the toolbar just lights up blue to signify a successful download. The preview panel popping up every time Firefox successfully downloads something (due to reasons, I download files in bulk from multiple sources) is incredibly irritating. The problem goes away when I just remove the download icon/panel from the toolbar entirely. I just wanna know WHY this bizarre phenomenon happens.

When I open FF it only opens with a half page on the left. This next jusy a polite general question. After the uproar about fvd suspension, why did FF feel the need to do it again? What I mean is why did they wipe out All my apps and deleted other programs I had BOUGHT and now having trouble getting downloaded again when they were working perfectly before 100? I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.
Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.
I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

Nevertheless, the first attempt at entering a search immediately called up millions of the things. At Chrome, I have learned a sequence of eight clicks, whereby I can, for just that one search, avoid those hideous suggestions. If I could have a no-click option at Firefox, I would stay here. Otherwise, can you tell me how to uninst... no, I can first have another look in Windows settings. Looked through the C drive, but I recall now there is an "uninstall programs" facility in Windows. So, if you are able to tell me how to switch off the suggestions, I will stay at Fireofox. If not, I won't. I can remember a Google (or Chrome) person talking on TV, about 15 yrs ago, about this new thing they had (search suggestions) that everyone would love. Four or five seconds into his talk, I knew that I hated it, and have never moved a millimeter away from that position.

Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:

When I start typing URL's in Firefox, it will only ever suggest the URL so far as the top level domain. For instance, I frequently visit trakt.tv/dashboard. But when I type "tr" into the URL bar, Firefox only ever suggests trakt.tv - I have to manually press the forward arrow key and type in "/d" in order for it to autofill the rest. It doesn't matter how many time I type the full URL in or even the fact that I've deleted all history only visited trakt.tv/dashboard, Firefox will still only autofill trakt.tv
Is there some about:config setting I can change to make Firefox recognize and prioritize specific frequently visited URL's over just top level domains?
