When I login into some WEB site it goes in to an endless loop continues? It used to work before you forced the download of version of 0esr, when the old none 0esr worked fine. As a example: I am trying to login to xcelenergy.com site and it keeps flipping back and forth with these two lines ( parts of lines deleted because you might get into my account )in the address bar -

I have included the 2 of screen captures that it flip's through of maybe a another 2 screens (can not tell, it flips through to fast).

  The site I am login into:          my.xcelenergy.com
 Firefox version using now:      115.6.0esr (64-bit) or the 32bit Version, I tried both. Then load an old back version it works fine but then it gets upgrade to the new version again.
  my version of windows:         8.1, with all Firefox ad blockers and other ad blockers turned off or on does not matter. 
      The reason I will not upgrade my software is that I would have to buy a lot of new software upgrades that I use, and can  

not afford at this time on my retirement.

Each time I connect to the Sam's Club website I get a popup box that says "Let us know your human (no robots allowed)" even before I try to login. There is an "X" in the upper left corner of the message that I can click on twice and the box goes away. I then can click login and my password saver fills the boxes at which time I get the same box. I click again on the X and a message says there is a problem, try again later.

I got a notice from Mozilla that Firefox was updated over night. Now when I hit a link it goes to edge instead of Firefox. In the Firefox settings, it still says that Firefox is my default browser. I do not want to use Edge. How do I fix this. I have used Firefox for many years.

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. fire fox usually has one row of frequently visited /fav web sites come up on the home page, but it has stopped doing this and even when i try and add them manually it wont accept them, the same when i try and boo marl a web page

Every once in awhile i get a second Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar and also a second listing for firefox in my programs list. If i try and delete the extra version there is only one listed in the control panel. Has anyone else seen this? I am running Windows 10 Pro.

I am having issues with Firefox crashing at various times though out the day. It always starts out fine, but at some point it just stops responding and I have to close the browser and reopen it. This happens at least once a day and it does it on different units (my LG Laptop, Dell Desktops (2 different units-1 at work and 1 at home), Surface Pro 9, my Dell laptop), so I know it is not the unit, it is something in Firefox! My Dell laptop runs Windows 10, all the others run Windows 11. Please look into this and provide a patch. Thank you!

Occasionally when downloading files on Firefox, they'll freeze completely (often at the very end.) There is no way to pause or cancel the downloads, except to restart Firefox.

When I attempt to restart Firefox, it closes the browser window. However, when I try to reopen it, I get an error message stating that Firefox is running but not responding. The 'Close Firefox' option does nothing, except make the box pop back up a moment later.

I can't kill the Firefox process in Task Manager or Process Explorer, because it says access is denied. I can't kill it using taskkill in command prompt because it says there is no running instance of the task.

The ONLY thing that seems to help is completely restarting the computer, which is getting frustrating to do several times a day.

I can confirm Firefox is up-to-date. Any tips are appreciated, thank you!

What happened to it? When it was deleted? Why? Is there a way to restore it?

Information panels show a mail has arrived but it does not arrive in my inbox. Therefore I can get no replies. Inbox display is totally different and nothing is ordered as before, by date etc.

1. menu_close { display: -moz-box !important; }

to restore "Close Tab" in the File menu, based on cor-el's response regarding restoring menu_bookmarkAllTabs here:

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?

search jumps to address bar. I NEED THIS TO STOP IT !!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A GREAT THING for ‘Firefox'. Give us a click button to turn this unwanted or unneeded automatic feature. Please don't offer workaround goto edit deep function programing 'work with me' options, just turn it OFF.

When I try to download a file from a a download link from a trusted website it doesn't work. When I click it it just refreshes the page and doesn't download. I'm new to PC so I don't know if its something simple or if I may need to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla. Thanks in advance for any help.
