I normally clear the history by choosing "Everything" from "Time range to clean" and choosing all checkmarks except "Site preferences".

How do I exclude a single site from the history deletion process to prevent the settings/cookies of that given site from being deleted ?

I keep getting a message that "CAD 3.8.1" has deleted my cookies. I get this message every few seconds. I can't find where it's coming from to disable it. As a result my log in info isn't saved and I have to keep logging in. Has anyone else had this problem?

First, check "DeIete cookies and sitedata when Firefox is closed" from Privacy & Security in the settings.

After that, register the Google domain as an exception with "Manage Exceptions".

When I restart Firefox after logging in to Google once, the Google registration information disappears even though I registered the exception, and I have to log in again.

However, there are some sites where my login information will not disappear if I register as an exception.

How can I prevent my Google login information from disappearing even if I restart with the above settings?

I use your superb browser to surf the web. One of the only sites I am having trouble with is Transport for London, www.tfl.gov.uk.

The thing about this site is, that when I go onto it, it simply freezes almost straight away. I use my wired mouse to try to scroll up or scroll down the site, and I cannot. It is just stuck. There are no scroll bars on the right to be able to click on to go up or down.

I am thinking this problem may have something to do with cookies. I say this, because the site is allright before the message comes onto the screen asking you to agree to cookies.

Is this a possiblity, do you think?

Or is there another possibility? For example, I have visited another forum, and told to increase hardware acceleration. Could this be the answer?

I have twice come across a glitch on the Firefox version of tumblr. The notifications will remain entirely static, regardless of how many items are in my dash or how many people have interacted with my posts. I am sure this is a Firefox issue as logging onto Google Chrome removes this issue entirely. I have temporarily removed cookies and passwords for tumblr, but the issue has not improved.

I try to setup Firefox so that it is blank in all categories but I still Find Bing under Settings, Private & Security, Manage Data even though I added both http and https://www.bing.com to block status?? I do this so that I can securely and privately connect to my services such as banks, medicare, etc. No Reply Necessary. I always check this when getting ready to connect and remove the cookie. I unfortunately have somewhat unstable power where I live which is causing me some issues with Firefox. I plan on purchasing a UPS at some point, but just haven't messed with it right now. When there is a power outage and I have Firefox open, I always get logged out of all websites. Sometimes I get the message about Firefox already running and I delete the parent.lock file to fix that, but I still have to log back into every single website again (whether or not I have to delete parent.lock).

I've went over all settings (such as auto deleting cookies, etc) and nothing looks like it would cause this issue. It's almost like the cookies are "expiring" after a power outage and are no longer any good. Any ideas?

Just recently when I log on to StubHub.com, I get the message "Access Denied." I don't get it on my iPad, my iPhones, or on the Chrome Browser. What happened? What do I need to do to be able to log on to StubHub again?

I've enabled 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' to delete the cookies and site data when I close Firefox, but I would like to add some exceptions (mostly mail site). Every time I add the exception through Manage Exceptions... button and then I close Firefox, when I restart Firefox, the exception is gone. Is this expected? I don't think so. If so, it's not clear in the UI, as the button is just next to the mentioned checkbox.

I can't use google authorization. Everytime I try so sign into a web app using my Google ID i get a message that says "Your browser has cookies disabled. Make sure your cookies are enabled and try again". My browser privacy settings are set to "standard".
