I've been having trouble for a couple of months with Firefox. It's on both my desktop and my laptop with both Firefox and Firefox Developer. It seems to happen at random, but instead of being able to see words, all I can see is symbols like these (attached). If I copy/paste it into a word doc or a text file, I can read it just fine. It's only in the browser that I experience these issues.

Has anyone else had these issues? Is there an easy fix that I'm just not seeing?

I am running an iMAC 27 using mac OS X Catalina (10.15.7) When I select Print from the Hamburger drop-down (or by any other method -- I prefer MD + P) I get the familiar printer box but there seems to be NO WAY to see the thumbnail of the page or pages to be printed. For me this is votal because I often print selected pages from a large document or web view.

I am attaching a screen shot of what I get with FIREFOX.

Is this a systemic fault with Firefox or am I just in the dark?

I can't seem to turn off the feature of, when I press delete on accident i go to the past page and this has caused me to leave meetings and other important things, i would like to find out how to turn off this feature.

I have to continue to use Firefox 52.0.2 (FF52)because of a discontinued form filler plug-in (Autofill Forms). FF 52 has been working fine until I moved to Big Sur. Upon launching FF52 under Big Sur, the sidebar and some toobar icon drop-menu's text has disappeared. If I boot back into Catalina, this missing text is visible (Please see attached screenshots). I was hoping someone could tell me how to make this text visible again under Big Sur. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Hi, on my MAC M1 (ARM Processor) I have firefox installed. The browser freezes every time I put the computer into sleep mode or when I use the lock screen or simply when I restart the system. Once I have re-logged in to my MAC, the firefox window reopens but all the tabs are locked. So, the only solution is to close the window and reopen a new window. How can I fix it? Thanks

I've looked everywhere and tried everything I know and I'm not new to computers, although I have not had to import bookmarks in a long time. I'm on an Imac Catalina, backup is on High Sierra, current OS is 10.15.7 Catalina, lost my bookmarks when I upgraded to Catalina because I had to do a clean install. I use the firefox browser with my macos big sur. I disabled the spell check, but I keep on seeing red underlines when I type in the search bar. I thought when spell check is disabled, this should not be possible. (excuse my English). How can I get rid of the red underlines?

Every once in a while the Firefox browser will close down (I'm assuming for an autoupdate) when it does it clears my chosen search engine as well as the information of recently closed tabs and windows. This means that when it restarts I have to search through my history for the sites and pages that I had open before it closed down. Why is this happening? and is there a way I can stop it?

I have Firefox in multiple devices. All works except my iMac. Everytime I clean it up. Once I log in on the same mail of the others firefox lockwise wont import the credentials and passwords from the other devices on the same email. I wrote this problem more than once. What is this support if nobody answers related to the problem.

I have created a screen with some 10 fixed tabs that i use each day in a fixed order. It enables me to quickly swap from 1 tab to another.

In preferences I opted for restore sessions, and it works, but sometimes (e.g. after OSX upgrade) i loose the session set-up and have to re-organize all the tabs again.

I've recently started working with a Mac (Catalina) and found an oddity that only seems to apply to Firefox. I set up keyboard shortcuts for moving windows between my macbook display and an external monitor using the in-built keyboard options to add shortcuts.

These target the Window>Move to [DISPLAY NAME] menu entries at the top of the screen. For some reason Firefox windows don't have this menu entry and therefore my shortcuts don't move Firefox windows between my screens.

I've included a couple screenshots to demonstrate. It's not a huge deal but I wonder if it's an issue with my machine or just a quirk of Firefox?

I am using Firefox 85.0 on OSX 10.14.6. Both Firefox Dev Tools and OSX are set to Dark Mode. However the menubar on the Developer Tools pop-out window (separate window view) is showing light grey. Please see attached image which shows the menu bar colour.

Is there any way I can change this to match the dark theme of my system?

This may seem petty, but I use the pop-out console a lot in my workflow and the bright coloured bar is bothering me! I have just switched over from Chrome which correctly matches the menubar to the system theme.

The back/forward buttons on my mouse are not working as intended, ONLY on the Firefox browser. The actions work correctly on every other application and browser that I use. With Firefox, when the back/forward buttons are pressed, the "up/down" scroll is triggered. This is not how I have mapped my mouse. Please look into fixing this. It is very annoying. Thank you.

I am using Vanguard’s website, which is the only one (out of those that I use) that prevents me from blocking tracking content and which also forces me to allow social media tracking. If I do not allow this, the website doesn’t work.

I attached two files: a capture of content tracking and a capture of the social media tracking shown by Firefox when I use Vanguard's website.

I would like to understand the following:

1. Is Vanguard the one enabling all of this tracking? If so, do they program it into their website? 2. Is there usually some kind of agreement between Vanguard and the 3rd parties and social media companies that Vanguard passes information to? 3. Is there any financial benefit to a company like Vanguard to do this?

Every so often when I am browsing and go onto a website the text becomes all jumbled as if it can't read the font properly. This has only started happening recently. It definitely seems to be a font issue as when I copy the text and paste it into a document it reads perfectly and if I close the browser then open it again the text is back to normal. It seems to happen after I've been using the browser for a while.

Every time I connect to a network that needs login, there is a warning bar appearing on the top of the webpage. The bar changes the screen size and cause all elements on the webpage shift down and resize, which takes about 4 seconds on my poor computer and it is very annoying.

How can I change the setting that the bar shows without moving the underlying webpage? Thanks.

Note my objective is the bar shows like "floating above the webpage".
