since some updates the video display in full screen mode darkens my second screen. but i still want to be able to watch videos in full screen mode on both screens. how do i set this?

Clicking on a toolbar shortcut, each selection overwrite the existing open tab instead of opening a separate tab. For Example, I opened Facebook and then LIRR, the image below only shows the LIRR tab. The same thing happens in Chrome.

(I was in Customize Toolbar earlier but didn't touch the shortcut tabs and they all still display. If I open a shortcut from my desktop, they open in separate tabs just not from custom toolbar). Images below displays my current settings in what I thought may help.

I unchecked FF tab settings, Rechecked FF Tab Settings, went to Task Manager and ended FF task, Restarted multiple times, checked for FF updates, ran Malwarebytes Antivirus and Windows Defender, nothing seemed to fix.

Help please, not a super technical person. :P

It has been quite awhile since this happened, but I have missed using Firefox. I was prompted to download an update when I was on the browser website. When I downloaded the new version at that time, it no longer worked. I tried everything to get it to work again, but nothing helped. I probably even corrupted the profile.

What do I need to uninstall or delete to get a new version to work?  I am using Windows 11 on an HP desktop.

Hi, i want to change my search language to US English but it keeps the BR Portuguese language on my search engine for Firefox (Google). Any way to help? Only Firefox itself changes the language.

The Firefox Icon has somehow been replaced by a white rectangle containing a smaller blue rectangle inside of it. See screenshots showing the shortcut on my desktop as well as in the task bar. What happened and how do I fix this? I have spent hours multiple days trying to find answers on the web and on my machine. Please help. Thank you.

I'm trying to use Firefox's autofill feature to save my address for food delivery sites, but I can't find the option to enable it in the settings. I've followed the help page instructions, but it's not showing up under Privacy & Security.

I'm using many version on [your operating system]. Any advice on how to fix this? Would love to get my food orders filled in faster!

My settings are Standard for Privacy and Security. I disabled Total Cookie Protection for this website and when I try to login I consistently get this error message. "We're sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. Please try again." I have no issue when logging in using Safari.

Does anyone know what prevents access to this website when using Firefox? Thanks.

I have a big issue with my Firefox account.

Today I tried to changed my password. But everytime, I had the error message "Current password is wrong".

So, to change my password, I decided to reset my password with a recovery key, to keep all my data (passwords, bookmarks, etc)

I changed my password successfully.

But unfortunately, I can't connect/link my Firefox account anymore to my Firefox browser (Windows 10) and to my Firefox mobile app (Android 14).

When I try to do it, I have the message "Connection to Firefox has been established" (in French).

After that, I am connected to my Firefox account on Mozilla website. But I am not connected to my account on Firefox browser (Windows 10) and on Firefox mobile app (Android 14).

This is not normal.

Moreover, if I look to the history of my connections, I see the messages: "Connection to the account failed".

So, I think there is an issue on my Firefox account. I can't connect it / link it anymore to Firefox browser (Windows 10) and Firefox mobile app (Android 14). Before I reset my password with the recovery key, I hadn't this bothering issue.

But if i try with a other Firefox account, there is no issue. I can link it to Firefox browser of Firefox mobile app.

I need to link/connect my Firefox account again to Firefox browser and Firefox mobile app. I have all my passwords and bookmarks on it. It's very important!

This issue is very bothering... It's not normal that I can't link my Firefox account anymore to my Firefox browser and Firefox mobile app whereas I can connect to my Firefox account on Mozilla website.

I have already uninstall and reinstall the Firefox browser (Windows 10) and Firefox mobile app (Android 14), but the issue still there.

Could you help me, please?

For the past couple of months, FF has been running insanely slow. It takes several minutes for webpages to load. My full-fibre broadband is up to speed, I've cleared the cache numerous times, I've disabled most of my extensions, I'm running the latest version, and I only have 5-6 tabs open max.

When things are really slow, the task manager shows that FF is using huge amounts of memory, with more FF processes showing that I have tabs open.

According to a thread last year, Malwarebytes Browserguard was slowing FF down. Is this still the case? If so, what non-slowing alternative do you recommend? I don't want to turn it off until I have another one installed.

How can I disable the toolbar when using Firefox PDF Reader? I found some info here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1119523. But maybe there is easier way this can now be done? I would like to disable the toolbar only for viewing PDF in full screen mode. Thank you

So basically i had done what i need to do base on the advice in

i had added chrome file in the profile folder and done all as the picture shown below

after that i do about:config make legacy -> false to true, i do a restart my windows and check on profile folder it change to .... Firefox\Profiles\*censored*.default-release

• i censored it afraid that it was a important information (im not a techno guy)

but it doesnt change a thing. i was playing diep.io and agar.io whenever i hover it to the top it still poppin up

any suggestion?

I don't like the new layout of Shortcuts. The "Add Shortcut" slot always disappears whenever I clear my history or have "remember history" disabled in settings so I can't add more pins if I wanted to.

How can I get the old, previous layout back?
