My computer use to start up in Yahoo, now it starts in Google, and I have to open Yahoo from Google. How do I get it back to starting up in Yahoo?

TL;DR: Moved firefox browsers, didnt properly export passwords, uninstalled other browser, had logins.json from profile folder, needed to know how to import manually.

Fixed. I just installed the older browser, and properly exported the passwords this time.

New Answer to Old Question: FF 118.0.1 Snap for Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, Try FF Hamburger Menu > More Tools > Customize toolbar > Cursor NOW Becomes Hand tool. Move Icons, Select: Done in lower Rt Corner and Enjoy. Seems to Hold After Reboot.

I am seeing a generic icon appearing instead of Firefox logo post installation on Mac.

I have been following the change in the wind direction for a while...and today I got the silliest yet practical evidence of that... Flooded with hipsters from a lost generation of shiny and empty queer arguments the Mozilla project lost its tracks on providing technical, secure, and safe material to its community. Today I decided to remove Snap from my Linux box, consequently, Firefox. Then I went to install Firefox through Apt and I realized the "apt" is actually a "transition package to snap"...fine. I then went to the website to download and install it manually (like the good old days), and then I realize there are no instructions for installing the package. You are supposed to figure that out by yourself...

Again, I give you that: the fact *is* silly, but is shows a broken system, and this broken system is done by those young hipsters full of schema, and colourful, and "inclusive" arguments that don't really care about the actual user but their own egos. For instance, go here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox/install-and-update-firefox. Go there, get your Firefox. And, please, notice that there is not *a single line* explaining how to install this thing. There is -- like every lazy tech company out there, profit from the "free" time of their costumers -- a list of "#f*ckyourself" articles to search for your answer...

That's just too much BS... especially for somebody that actually donate money to what once was a symbol of openess and dedication to users. This hipsters probably don't even know the relevance of Mozilla/Netspace to the world of open-source and freedom... I bet they/you don't... I actually get mad at me to allow these loosers to take over what was a awesome project.

With that, I quit Firefox and Mozilla. Until you refresh your cynical management and community leaders...

Hello. I'm a journalist and I have relied on Onetab to save my research links. This morning, a number of tabs that I had open kept crashing, so I restarted Firefox. The restore function did nothing to refresh those tabs.

What's more distressing is that my saved tabs in Onetab (saved over a number of months) appear to have been completely wiped out.

Unfortunately, my last Time Machine backup was in April of this year, but I do use Idrive to back up regularly.

If anyone can help me to restore these tabs, I would be very appreciative!

In prior versions of Firefox IOS there was a second toolbar which showed frequently used program, i.e. GOogle, Apple, Amazon etc. How can I create it? Toolbar add-ones doesn't do it. THanks

Team, I have inadvertently been using 2 different Firefox accounts (for years now), each with one of my primary email addresses. I have a new phone and have been trying to Synchronize both of my laptops to it, thus discovering my problem.

It seems that I have created 2 different Firefox Accounts, each with 1 of my primary email accounts, but both of which have the same profile picture. (Which is why I didn't recognize this before.)

Is there a way to combine my 2 Firefox accounts but keep both of my primary email addresses (thus Merge or Combine, not remove 1)? This will allow both of my 2 laptops have the same configuration and keep all my saved passwords/logins/bookmarks/etc.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

For Reference, my devices are: 2x Windows 11 Laptops 1x Android Smartphone.

all drop down menus such as donwloads/history/extensions/application menu suddenly have turned from dark to white in all of my created themes. I have not made any changes to my computer system, it's set to dark, firefox color scheme is also set to dark, I've tried automatic, played around with different combinations, that didn't change anything, and I've tried changing it in about:config, and everything in there is already set to dark.....i've no idea what to do at this point. I've reposted a few of my themes, hoping they would update back to dark, but that also didn't work. I'd really appreciate some help with this!

I uninstalled Firefox which I had used for years because when I tried to open it it said the file was corrupted and unreadable. I installed firefox today but it didn't import my bookmarks. I use windows 10

Yesterday Firefox started closing at random, sometimes instantly as soon as I open it. The crash dialog doesn't open, and if I go to about:crashes my most recent unreported crash is from 2019. Tried refreshing, reinstalling, completely wiping all profiles and starting fresh. If I use troubleshooting mode it won't open properly at allI am at a bit of a loss, any ideas?

As I said in the Subject I just bought Total AV this month, now its disabled on Firefox. Is this a permanent action? or is this a temporary action? How can/will I get my Antivirus back in action on Firefox?
