I recently downloaded FF 25.0 on a new computer (Samsung Series 9) and web pages don't render correctly though I used default settings and have same extensions (all in one sidebar and list it). I asked our tech person and he said "Your CSS isn't loading. Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser". This worked but now I find I have to repeatedly do it as many as a few times a day, with varied websites, and once it happens, all websites won't render correctly. I don't want to have to switch to chrome, please help! Here is a screenshot.

Firefox downloads the update, "Installs", and after that it says that I need to restart the firefox. I restart firefox, but it says that the partial update was not applied, and will download the complete file in order to update. After that, it restarts, and says there were problems to perform the update.

When I try to perform a fresh install it says extracting and then the program disappears and does nothing.

Please help.

I'm an online student and want to continue to use Microsoft Word and other word 365 products with Firefox. How do I get to use them and still have Firefox? Whenever I submit an assignment online, it gives me options to save my documents however none of my choices are with Microsoft Word. Please help, I really need to use Word for my documents but still need Firefox to access my classes online.

Firefox has stopped inserting my password since version 23 (only on this computer). When i'm trying to sign in, it inserts my login only, without a password. "Remember passwords for sites" option is enabled. Also I can see all of my password in the "Saved Passwords" window. I have another computer with Firefox (Firefox Sync enabled, same extensions and plugins, same settings), and it works fine there.

was downloading add ons after install. KeePass would not cancel out from long form fill. I restarted the browser. Ghostry web page and disconnect appeared. Went to search for blog, about 10 min had passed, I noticed my bookmark bar was empty.

Returned to the add on menu. Only six add ons were functioning. Add to this lost it's restart icon. Everthing behind that had to be re-opened. Did that. Restarted the browser. Same dead bunched behind

Add to this. I am setting up my wife's pc. Brand new. It is a LenovoThinkCenter 92z, Windows 8 os.

Not much else. I am loving the 64 bit it runs fine on my Sony w/ Windows 7. ANd that is the way it will stay til end of life.

Hello when I minimize my firefox 25 window by clicking on the icon in the taskbar, it vanishes into a background process. this has only happened since i updated to win 8.1. with win 8.0, i did not observe this behavior. I do not find the missing window under "recently closed tabs" or in the history. I cannot access it by clicking the icon in the taskbar again. If, however, I click a bookmark of one of the tabs which are open in the vanished window, it opens again with all the tabs active. This behavior makes it nearly impossible to reasonably work with firefox. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't even know if there is any interaction between Firefox and gmail. I just know it's a pain every time I want to use mail, I have to log in. I don't have to log in with Internet Explorer. My purpose here is to take advantage of Firefox not being infected with SPAM etc. Where and how do I set Firefox as my default browser, and what are the other advantages? Keep it simple, guys, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

My PINNED TABS don't work. This is what happens:

Al SET 4 TABS [ie: SCU.net.au; , anz.com.au; telechoice.com.au, 131500,com,.au] {Have I set them in Tools/Internet options in the past? Doesn't look possible in Fox. I PIN them now.} That's a credit union, a bank, my mobile account, and transportation guide. That means four handy helps under my finger tips.

Four four years ... FOR four years, this worked admirably. That was on the old ACER, Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT? Am I talking Windows 8? Are we into the Twilight Zone because I turned 63 last January? BUT ... they stopped working.

WHAT HAPPENS? The TRANSPORTATION link comes up with a STRING: 131500.com.au; ANZ.com.au; SCU.net.au;telechoice.com.au; mozilla.org.au FOX says is can't find this page. OR Transport says "Page does not exist" Which is all true.

"OK, you, I'll reset it again..." And I do and it happens again. Then I discovered this option.... get advice from the good people of Firefox at Mozilla.org

Let me know what you think. PS: To register, the Fox wouldn't let me have "ahq.mozilla" . Said it was "inappropriate". Must be Spanish for "Yahoo"? (Jesus). Why is that:

I have downloaded both 32 bit java and 64 bit java...they will not show as plug ins. can't use some financial programs. told by tech to remove one, restart and it would wok...nothing helps; have spent 6 hours on problem without succeeding. Some one please help! Thanks

I am not getting the comments bars on the top and bottom of the disqus boards, reply notices are not showing and I have to continue to refresh the page to get new comments and replies. Once in a while it wil work but not very often.

When you import bookmarks from Firefox or another browser into Firefox in a separate computer the bookmarks get imported fine, however their icons get disappeared. You have to click on every single bookmark in order to load its corresponding icon!

Note: The Google Chrome does not have this issue. The bookmark and their icons get imported to Chrome without further clicking on the imported bookmarks.

Everytime I wish to set up a Sync it goes to hell. I setup a Firefox Sync account, I select Pair a Device and I select Set up Firefox Sync on the other device. I click on I have an account and the link is dead. I check to find out if I am logged in or not. Search for Firefox sync page on google. (What is wrong with a bloody link FF/Mozilla??) All connected, try again = The same bloody result I select Pair a Device on the other (by now I just do this for kicks) and guess what, Create a New Account or I Have an Account. As I already have an account, I select I Have an Account... Dead link, Right click and I don't even get the expected menu of options on what to do with the webpage.

Have broken the camels back and would like an actual SOLUTION instead of Firefox's (probably correct if bug free and behaving) in my experience completely incorrect and unhelpful standard issue operating instructions.

any assistance (ASAP as I might be forced tp move to another more reliable browser) would be most gratefully recieved.

Firefox consistently locks up for minutes at a time when Huffington Post updates. This has been going on for at least 18 months and it does not appear there is a serious effort to address the problem. I have read though all the forum questions and replies and I do not see a serious effort on the part of Firefox to address this. It is causing significant enough problems to make using Firefox an issue. What is the problem and will be be fixed at some point?
