bold text When I use Google to search I always use the microphone instead of the keyboard. When I am using Firefox to search there is NO microphone.. I have to use my keyboard. Is there somewhere in settings where I can add this function to search?

I have Verizon FIOS and have been able to receive cable channels on my laptop until recently. Now I cannot access them without a sign-in which leads to some sort of error that I don't understand. Any help?

For a week my pinned tabs are lost every time I open Firefox. I have checked my settings, they were the same as always. I have de-selected them, closed and re-opened firefox, selected them again, closed and re-opened again, pinned my tabs again. Then closed and re-opened firefox and still they are not there. I have done this multiple time with the same results. This seems to have started after the last update.

Chrome user returning to Firefox here; I'm experiencing an issue where most pages would take at least 4 to 6 seconds to load, especially for heavy media sites like YouTube which could take 6 seconds for it to be barely usable, and 10 or 13 seconds for it to finish loading. My internet speed is 1gb at most and 800 Mbps at the least.

It loads sites like Reddit pretty fast, like 3-5 seconds interestingly. It's largely YouTube and other sites where the pages load infuriatingly slowly, and Chrome Mask did not helped with this.

Here are the things I did: Refreshed Firefox, started in Troubleshoot mode, installed Chrome Mask for YouTube (Did not work), disabled DNS, closed all foreground apps except Firefox, used a different profile and enabled/disabled hardware acceleration.

Specs: CPU: i5-3570k GPU: GTX 1070 Ti RAM: 16gb DDR3 OS: Windows 10 Hard Drive type: SSD

Final notes, it says I use Microsoft Defender Antivirus but I am actually using Malwarebytes. I also use uBlock Origin which is the entire reason why I permanently switched from Chrome to Firefox.

I don't come from an IT/Tech background so this has become a hassle for me. I have a "Old Firefox Data" file on the my desktop and that seems to have sub-folders with my bookmarks, sessions, logins, etc. How do I retrieve those to the new Firefox browser.

WHERE to key security code? What Page? Heading? NOTHING on any of those pages indicate "Key security code HERE." I GVE up! I have been round & round & canNOT get a response from the email that SHOULD give this information.

Since updating Firefox on June 30, 2025 on my Dell desktop computer that runs Windows 10, most of my bookmarks are no longer visible. Only four of my bookmark folders are visible and most of their contents have disappeared.

However, 1) my uncategorized bookmarks - those in "other bookmarks" are still visible, and 2) If I go to "Manage bookmarks" and do a search, I can find all of my bookmarks including those that are no longer visible.

In addition, I can no longer add or delete bookmarks. It looks like I can do add a bookmark and it will let me go through the steps of adding a book mark - it even says I can put it in all my old folders that are otherwise no longer visible. But one I complete the process the bookmark does not show up.

I have read multiple Firefox Help articles about disappearing bookmarks and have taken all the steps suggested including: - Attempted to restore backups of bookmarks - didn't work. It shows me the multiple old backups but when I try to restore one I get the message "Unable to process the backup file". I have tried it with at least four of the old backup files - all without success. - cleared cache - did troubleshooting mode - refreshed Firefox - uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox - looked to see if I had a different profile other than my default profile that I could switch to. I do not see another profile.

Nothing has helped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have accounts that will not work because they cannot access my location, My computer says all access is allowed, so is there something in Firefox that blocks my location?

we use fire fox for all our bookmarks. We are unable to login to our bank of America account, it shows our ID but it will not allow us to enter any password.
