A while back I noticed that my google calendar no longer sends reminders to my gmail (or rather, I suspect, gmail does not receive them). Yesterday I missed an important meeting because of this, so I want to get to the bottom of it. I verified that the reminders are properly set in my calendar, so I have to assume that they are going out. The pop-up windows do pop, so I assume that it is not on the calendar side. I also noted that calendar.google.com and gmail.google.com have the proper permissions to send pop-ups and notifications to gmail, which indicates to me that this end of the equation is working. (Don't know how to isolate the error further, though.) It seems that the Firefox settings need to be changed somehow. Any ideas?

Suddenly my Firefox has started coming up in Portuguese. I have reset the default language to English several times with no results. It has to be associated with the recent upgrade. How do I get the default language back to English?

Playback of videos on the invideo.io site is not supported. Also the Tiktok account page for uploading videos says Firefox is not supported. Both sites recommend Chrome or Edge instead. I'm using the latest version on my laptop. Firefox is my default browser so would like these sites to work.

A friend informs me that Firefox settings > General > Browsing > Always show scrollbars has been removed in version 129.

This is alarming because I need that option for accessibility reasons.

Could you please check and, if necessary, reinstate this vital option?

Recently, I noticed that Norton scans HTTPS traffic, and I’m unsure about how this impacts my privacy and security. While I understand the feature is meant to detect threats, I’m particularly worried because it involves decrypting sensitive information. This raises concerns about whether my personal data, such as login credentials or payment details, could be exposed during the scanning process. Has anyone else experienced issues or found this feature problematic? I'd love to hear about your experiences and whether there are any steps I can take to ensure my online security without risking privacy.

I recently upgraded to the latest version 132.0.2. There's a vertical sidebar on my browser that I would like to remove. I looked into the customize sidebar settings but can't seem to find a way to remove it completely. I've also attached a screenshot. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have used Firefox for longer than I care to remember and have never had any problem with it but this morning I switched on my PC and a new AI side bar has appeard on the left and I don't want it. Can you please make it so we can remove it and looking around the internet, I know I'm not the only one with this opinion.
