The font size in "Manage Bookmarks" is way too large, both in the sections list menu on the left and the list of bookmarks. I checked my userChrome.css file as well as the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx entry in about:config and there's nothing there to explain why only the "Manage Bookmarks" text is so large.
It's possible I changed a setting somewhere that's causing this. But I'm stumped re: what setting might be controlling the font size in only that UI. All other Firefox text sizes are good.
Thanks to anyone who knows where I should be looking
Firefox 134.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 10
Fire fox did an updated and all my saved Bookmarks were lost is there anyway I can recover.

Apparently I sync'd from the wrong direction (machine) and my old MBP now has only one default container now. The dozen or so containers I had have disappeared. You need to be clearer in your directions and define the use cases. In my case I want to port over FF from an old MAC to a new MAC. This would include my settings, configuration history, folders, bookmarks, extensions, homepage, and my containers to a new MBP - so it looked like the old one. Eek I thought it would be smarter and see that the new MBP was a newer version and had no configuration. Now I have blown away the containers and have to remake them. I also notice now that my settings - home page, history are not the same yet so I will have to look into what is going on there.
I am disappointed with the way this is going. Your initial master sync should be clear, there is no way to see if it is done or running or completed the initial sync. Honestly, the master sync should be treated differently from intermittent syncs anyway. Now the containers on my old MBP are has changed to the original 5 or so default containers, all of my containers are definitely gone! I logged out of mozilla, since it is apparently breaking my good version of FF.
Please clear up the documentation and include the use case of porting to a new machine to include Containers.

This morning, Tuesday, 21-Jan-2025, I submitted a Firefox bug report.
After the latest version of Firefox (Jan 21, 2005 at 8:45:59 AM, version 134.0.2 (20250120135430)) was installed my bookmarks disappeared. I was unable to restore the latest bookmark file from the "Other Bookmarks, restore". I was able to select the file but it wouldn't installed.
I tried several possible solutions base on past experience. This issue happened once before. Nothing I did worked until I access your Online website page detailing how to verify the integrity of Firefox. The verify search displayed a "place.sqlite" file was corrupt.
I examined the Profile "ft4ltmzl.defalult-release" file scrolling down to sqlite . Yep. There was a corrupt sqlite file in the profile. Following the instructions in you website page on how to remove a corrupt sqlite file I remove the corrupt file(s) then restarted Firefox. Volia. My bookmarks were back again. Firefox re-established the database. All is well.
You did a great job detailing how to verify Firefox and how to remove a corrupt sqlite file(s). The instructions were easy to follow for this particular issue.
Thank you.
James.

Hi there, I just got a new work laptop and tried to sync my firefox browsers so I could keep my passwords and bookmarks from my old laptop. Unfortunately I forgot my password, so I had to reset it on my new device. I logged in again on my old laptop but it's still not syncing or updating the bookmarks on the new laptop. Is there any way to move my bookmarks and passwords over to my new laptop? Thanks!

Hey all, Some day (I suspect it was 2024-06-06), Firefox lost all my browsing history after starting it back up from a crash or an upgrade. I didn't have the time to investigate the cause of this problem back then, but now I need some information from my old browsing history before that date. Interestingly, History -> 'Show all History' -> 'Import and Backup' -> 'Restore' lists a couple of dates well before the aforementioned date of data loss.
Are these dates automatically created recovery points (backups), and if so, when/under which circumstances does Firefox create such a backup? Where in the filesystem (Linux)/ Firefox profile does the backup data reside? I don't want to recover that old history data since that means to replace my recent browsing history. (How) can I view/extract these browsing history backups without going through an actual backup recovery process? (E.g. like, I can do with SQLite/SQLitebrowser and the places.sqlite file)?
(I installed Firefox from Ubuntu packages on my Debian Bookworm system. I don't know which version it was back then. Could have been 126)
Thank you very much!

Hi- I'm trying to setup two step in Microsoft Authenticator. I scan in the QR code from the Mozilla settings and that appears to work. However when I copy the generated code from the app and try to enter it back into the settings in my browser it tells me the code is wrong and thus I can't setup two step. I've tried loads of different authenticator apps and none seem to work. Can you help please? Thanks- Adrian.
