bsky.app cookie continues to be loaded on computer even after I continually delete it, privacy set to strict and blocked under "managed exceptions, why is it being reloaded when I don't access the site. None of the sites I access are linked to it, only visited once and if this alternative to x continues to set cookies, how can I permanently block it, thought the exceptions list was supposed to keep blocking it. So far it's come back three times, I'll screenshot it next time and attach.

I come, trying to manage my disappointment and anger, to say only one thing: I love Firefox, it (still) has the best UX of any modern browser. And part of that is that it has NO AI malware built into it. The recent statements from the CEO regarding the implementation of AI into the browser is extremely disappointing, to the point of it feeling like a personal betrayal, and will only make me (and a lot of other people) just completely abandon it. And don't kid yourselves, your user base never was so low, and that user base only like this browser specifically because it has no malware built into it, because of the privacy and open nature you had before this debacle. You're shooting yourselves on booth feet and an arm with a shotgun. I don't trust you as a company anymore at all; you just achieved the complete opposite of what you said you wanted. If you just made use of reverse psychology and was that's your actual goal, congrats. This company quite literally couldn't have elected a worse person to be chief executive.

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I have a question regarding the permission requests of the Simple Tab Groups extension by Drive4ik.

As I'm sure many of you know, this extension needs to: This add-on needs to:

• Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
• Monitor extension usage and manage themes
• Display notifications to you
• Access recently closed tabs
• Hide and show browser tabs
• Access browser tabs
• Store unlimited amount of client-side data
• Access your data for all websites

This add-on may also ask to: Read and modify bookmarks

Theoretically, I find this extension useful but I am concerned about the "Access your data for all websites" requirement. I read through Mozilla's permission request messages for Firefox extensions documentation and it seems like granting this extension these permissions would be a huge risk for the work I do– investigative journalism. It seems like I'll trade organizational benefits for a wider attack surface.

Can anyone speak more about the risks involved with using this extension, the trustworthiness of the developer, and why it needs the "Access your data for all websites" capability?

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

NOT to remove personal data? Does it give you an option for personal date not to be removed?? what about all the stored password? (See screenshot below) Secure DNS, check DNSSEC, check TLS 1.3 check Enrypted SNI, fail In Firefox i tried doing exactly what the person did in the video but i dont have the settings he is showing in about:config Why is that? (Below you can see the screenshot, those settings are missing from about:config)

So my question reamins simple, how can i enable Enrypted SNI in Firefox?

For highly encrypted messages and sensitive information each time renewed or discovered for the first time cam be very intimidating for certain people. Based on the facts and past experiences, this has become extremely important to discuss and share knowledge with true and trustworthy people only to ours and others peace of mind and safety.

Lately I've had to reload/refresh pages more frequently because of download issues. In order to the in FF I need to press the F5 key. To do the same thing in either Edge or Chrome all I need to do is right click and a little popup screen shows me the reload/refresh right there. Much more convenient to use. FF should use a similar technique.

Hi, I would like to know which version of Mozilla used this setting of network.trr.excluded-domains: 'sbl-xbl[.]spamhaus[.]org, localhost.that.never.exists'. The default is 'undefined' as I checked in 127.0.1 and the older 124. I also contacted support of extensions that I used, no evidence of both excluded domains. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot \!o!/

Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva
