Hi,
I got an issue that bookmarks are saved in the library, but this doesn't reflect on the Bookmark toolbar.
I have already removed the entire profile, did a reinstall .. nothing seems to reset it. When I perform a backup, the entries are also in the backup json.
I hope somebody can help, this started happening recently it seems.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I am running Firefox 91.5 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5 and just noticed that all my addons have been disabled and can't re-enable them.
Some of them are quite common modules such as Disconnect or Privacy Badger, so wondering what this may be.
There is a similar post on this forum dating back to 2019 and it mentioned a fix on Firefox was to be developped.
Anyone experiencing the same issue at the moment.?
Please see attached screenshot.
Kind regards,
Alex

I have done my best to suppress browser and OS fingerprinting. Is that the cause? I also note that under 'Troubleshooting information" below the page shows "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data"

I've been using Firefox ESR for some years. Now I would like to know the best way to use and try the "normal" version of Firefox. Can I install it without uninstall ESR? Or must I do a clean install of Firefox after getting rid of ESR? If this is the case, what must I do to keep my profile, bookmarks, etc?

Every other thread has either cited changing the setting for PDF's to "Open in Firefox" or various names. Fear not, I've tried that, and am still at an impass. Any help beyond that is appreciated :)

Firefox currently has a URL color formatting scheme which greys-out all parts of the URL in the address bar except for the top-level domain and the 2nd-level domain (with some exceptions).
I am building a website where my organization-specific domain is NOT located on the 2nd-level domain, but rather on the 3rd-level domain.
I plan to use the domain "obb.ll.land". The "ll.land" part is basically a domain that the Liberland Government operates and from which it sells 3rd-level domains to members of the public. Think of "ll.land" as a temporary ccTLD for Liberland. (ICANN requires countries to be on the ISO-3166 list—which Liberland is not yet on—in order to register an official Internet ccTLD.) Therefore, any domain that is formatted as "[SUBDOMAIN].ll.land" should be presumed to be the foundational domain for a given organization that uses it.
Therefore, when a client sees a Liberlandic website, the domain should have the 3rd-level domain included in the black-text portion of Firefox's URL color formatting scheme. Otherwise the scheme would be misleading about the true nature of the website involved. For example, the 3rd-level domain of "https://www.floating.ll.land/" should be included in the black-text portion. Same with the 3rd-level domain of "https://register.ll.land/". However, as of this writing, no ".ll.land" site has the appropriate URL coloration to my knowledge.
How can I solve this problem? Is there something which developers like me should add to our websites individually, or will Mozilla be responsible for handling this matter?
Thank you all in advance! :)

Since Firefox was last updated, I now no longer have the ability to access some websites such as Google, Wikipedia, and Amazon without Firefox prompting me to type something to search within those sites even though all I want to do is go to the home page.
I can still get there by typing http:// in front of it but I shouldn't have to and if I change the settings to add the search in the toolbar and then try going to "amazon.com", for example, I'm still being prompted to use the address bar to search.
Is there a way to fully disable this prompt so I can type in "google.com" or "amazon.com" without getting the search prompt?

I have Firefox 91.6.0esr (64-bit) on Windows. Previously I could access PDFs on a number of websites using the inbuilt PDF viewer. However now Firefox returns a save-as prompt.
I have checked the headers of some of these pdf pages and the header content-disposition: inline; filename=<abcdefg> is contained which I think should cause the PDF to be rendered in the browser but this is not happening. The pdfs on the same pages can be viewed using Edge.

Hi, so my problem was exist for several times both on my PC and laptop and can't figure it out keyword to fix my issue and tbh i don't know what trigger this behavior. When browsing sometimes came situation can't type anything using my keyboard, even when outside firefox.
my current workaround to encounter this, i just need open any web with place I can type like search bar or text box and type there then back to normal (so I guessing it's maybe related to when I open web with this kind search box then move to other tab it's stuck on that box? but i can't make sure, it just happen randomly but often). and I don't know if this issues related to windows or just firefox because I didn't know the trigger so i can't recreate this on other browser.
If anyone know how to fix this, please help me.
thanks in advance

I was wondering why there's so many processes of Firefox that are displayed as running in Task Manager.
Initially it was about 7-8 and even that was something that drew my attention and concern to it but now there's 22. It's very frustrating and any feedback towards resolving this issue would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much, you're beautiful.

One time, when using MAC I accidentally set a website to always open in a different container. Now any time I attempt to launch this website, I receive the MAC prompt "Open this site in your assigned container?", where I have two options: Open in Current Container and Open in Assigned Container. There is also a checkbox labeled "Remember my decision for this site", however even if I tick this checkbox and select Open in Current Container, I still get this same prompt every subsequent time I visit this website.
