As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:

After updating the Mozilla browser, two sites related to watching TV movies stopped opening - Apple TV and Canal +. The Apple TV site does not respond at all, Canal + shows an error. Clearing cookies doesn't help. Another browser, Chrome, opens pages normally.

Yesterday I was able to see www.wowpresentsplus.com videos without a problem, but today I'm getting the next error:

Unable to play video. Please try again in a supported browser.

I have the latest version of firefox. I've cleared the cache and so on. Any idea on how to solve this?

Hello. Recently I've noticed video quality has been reduced on amazon prime video. I get a message saying my hardware doesn't meet HDCP requirements.

I've already tried playing the same video on edge, and the quality selector was fine there, full HD video.

I have Hulu live tv streaming and the video is not streaming. I get a black screen when I select a channel or an item from the library. This also happens when I try to stream local tv stations' 24 hr streaming sites. Other streaming services (Disney+, ESPN+, Netflix... etc) stream just fine. Hulu works perfectly in Microsoft Edge but I truly prefer not to use it. I've been using Firefox for years. This has happened after the latest update of Firefox. The update before this latest I experienced a similar problem and using the trouble shoot mode narrowed it down to a problem with Adblocker Ultimate extension. I deleted the extension and reinstalled it and the problem corrected. I did the same this time and no success. I have cleared the cache and reset Firefox and still the problem exists. TIAF any help.

I updated to version 129.0 and Hulu stopped streaming and news video imbedded in news articles will no longer load. I have removed and reinstalled Firefox and cleared all cache. It is affecting my desktop and laptop. Both operating systems are windows 10 64 bit. I made sure the Firefox download was 64 bit. The problem is not the websites as they will load and attempt to load content but it behaves as if it is being blocked. It is not my antivirus because I have turned is off and there is no difference.

Good evening, since I switched to the latest version of FireFox (129.0), I can no longer stream movies or live shows on Mycanal, only Netflix works. In addition, my Google searches sometimes don't come up, the tab opens and nothing happens. When I receive a link by Mail and I click on it, it doesn't work. I've been using FireFox for 15 years and this is the first time I've encountered these problems (I specify that I have the Avast one antivirus), could this be the cause? After 129.0 update, Hulu streaming quit working. I have other streaming services that still work fine. I tried it on older version of Firefox 115.14.0esr (64bit) (old pc Win 8.1) and it works fine there. Can I go back to an older version of Firefox or is this a known issue with update?

This is the issue, Hulu website loads and allows you to log in. When you try to stream a show, it plays a commercial then freezes.
