  1. 1 I set the Manage Data tab to 'Allow' for sites I want cookies saved for. This sets the http and https addresses for the sites I enter.
  2. 2 I set the same sites in the 'Manage Exceptions' tab so that these sites do not have their cookies deleted.
  3. 3 Save Settings
  4. 4 Close and re-open Firefox. All cookies are deleted.

I suspect this is a bug?

I've written about this before and never got a working answer. I have to use Chrome or internet explorer for some work because FireFox won't open the sites. This problem hasn't been fixed by I clearing cache and cookies as recommended back when I first asked a year or so ago.

Now the latest website I haven't been able to use is the Post office! USPS.com -- If I try to track a mail piece using my tracking number the site can't bring it up. The site tries for long time then tells me to try later. When I try with another browser such as Chrome, the result is there within a couple of seconds. It looks like I'm going to have to leave FireFox which I hate as I've used it so long - over ten years at least.

Version 121 Windows 10

I can no longer access my online banking at td.com - the server returns the following message: "Bad Request - Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

The online banking works normally with Safari. Please help me fix this quickly.

In HTTPS-Only mode I quite often get a message that the site does not support https but when I Continue the page I land on is a https page. I can't understand what's happening here: does the site have a https page Firefox can't detect or is HTTPS-Only creating the https connection for me, or is it only pretending to be https and there is no real extra security? If someone could enlighten me as to what's happening I'd be most grateful. I have a couple of screenshots to show what I mean, but perhaps you know exactly what I'm talking about anyway! I'd add I can't see anything in the Help articles that seems to deal with this situation, but perhaps I'm just being a bit dense (not unknown!). Hoping you can clarify this for me.

While in my internet banking it is not possible to copy/paste the IBAN, the sum or just the name or anything. No matter if I used the context menu copy/paste function or the keyboard shortcuts. I am trying to copy from a Google Drive opened text file or a template saved in my online banking.

In Chrome there was no issue with copy/paste.

Outside of my banking, there are no issues with copy/paste.

I expect it is a security setting somewhere, do you know which one it is?

I have been using Firefox for years and never encountered this problem. I changed the theme to dark but it made some websites unreadable, so I changed it back. The problem is some websites did not register the change. I cannot use these websites anymore with your browser, and I would prefer to stay with Firefox. What can I do? I have changed the system settings and Firefox settings. Nothing has helped. I have gone through your troubleshooting advice and googled various topics to figure this out. Nothing. It is frustrating, especially when one of the broken sites is my work portal. This cannot continue, so I will be forced to change browsers. I use both Mac and Windows computers if that helps. It is the same on both.

Hi, I have been using Firefox for a good few years and I love it. I also use NordPass. Recently I tried to start using Passkeys as they appear to be less hassle, however, when I try to set one up I am told that my browser is not suitable, and it suggests that I use Chrome (or others). Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is?

This URL works fine in Safari, but not in Firefox any longer. What has happened and how/when will this be resolved? JPaul

I am having a significant issue with firefox draining my battery. I used chrome up until the new year and then switched over to firefox from chrome. Overall I love firefox so much more. The format is way more pleasing. I love how it easily signs me back into everything, BUT IT DRAINS MY COMPUTER SO MUCH. Like i used to have an 8hour + battery span my laptop neverrr died. Now I get through MAX 2 hours of full use before needing to charge, and maybe 4 hours just having it at school but not using it.

I thought my dell suddenly started crashing, ran all these tests, and then I realized the only change was that I had started using Firefox... So sad I think I am going to have to leave it.

I read a lot of articles and did everything suggested. my graphics is webreader , i turned on all the suggested features, i have 2 extensions , the only thing I could maybe think of was that I use an animated theme so maybe that was killing the battery, but like if I can't use my theme than whats the point.

I am using Firefox (Flatpak) version 121.0 on an Ubuntu 22.04 laptop.

On installing a new extension I should either see the extension's icon on my toolbar or else have a clear means of adding it. I have neither.

Clicking on the jigsaw icon in the toolbar, I get migrated to the about:addons page. On clicking the Extensions tab, I get the screen listing all installed extensions. Each extension has a ... icon beside it. But when I click on this, there is no "Pin To Toolbar" option.

What is wrong here ?

Both devices are recognized in my account. After running Sync, the history from the desktop is on the mobile but the bookmarks are not. Desktop is running Firefox snap v. 121 on Ubuntu 22.04. Mobile is running Firefox app v. 121 on Android 10. I have a copy of the sync.log but it's really long. Can attach if needed.

I'm using this instructions to move my profile from old laptop to new laptop. I've had success with this method in the past, but not today. I copied the files over to my new device, open FF on the new device, and FF just opens as a new installation. What is going wrong?? (I'm going from a Windows 10 laptop to new Windows 11 laptop. (Ugh, I already haaaaaate Windows 11, but that is for another forum!)
