So why can't Firefox make their bookmark system more simple? I can spend 10 minutes looking for a bookmark that I KNOW I have & end up just googling for the site.

Fire Fox has taken to auto filling my password on my brokerage account. This leaves the account available to anyone that can turn my computer on. I do not have a password saved for the brokerage account and have the company listed to be excluded. This just happened in the last few weeks.

hi. recently f-secure was blocked by fire fox i believe and i removed firefox from my pc. (not sure why) i have now reinstalled firefox as i had a email from f-secure to say it was now available for firefox but despite spending the last 2 hours going round in circles i cannot find a way to reinstall f-secure. can anyone please help me? thankyou. my subscription is valid.

I download some documents and save them on my hard drive. When I open them, it opens Firefox instead of opening Acrobat reader. I need to be able to work offline with them in Adobe - I do not want the HTML version. This has only started happening recently. If this can't be solved I will have to try another browser. I am a reasonably savvy user but I am not a technical expert. Thanks for any help going - I am desperate. They all seem to have saved themselves as HTML documents. Any ideas?

HI! I'm using Firefox 98 on Linux Ubuntu 20.04. after the last update I found several settings changed and I had to reset them, but there is one setting I can't manage. In the download preferences I set all the Microsoft Excel entries to "Always ask", but every time that I try to see an Excel file (no download, just open with ...), this is automatically downloaded. I definitively don't want to download it. How can I change this behavior? P.S.: I realized right now that there is the same problem with .docx files and I don't know how many others file types.

I just installed Add-on "Search by Image" with "Tin Eye". When I try to launch the program I get the Error Message, "Content scripts are not allowed on this page."

How do I correct this so that it works as advertised?

I am a donor and am very frustrated. I can't read my passwords when I click on the login/ password site . The sign in is there but the password is either below the bottom of the screen and I cannot scroll down nor reduce the size with CNTL - or overwritten with other material. I've supported Mozilla and used it but am about to leave- Whatever changes were made recently are not working

several weeks ago, i noticed that my tabs that i have had open for months no longer were present when i had occasion to reopen firefox after i had shutdown computer. i think it happened after update 98.0.2 was installed. i have searched help, etc. one solution that was my exact problem did not apply to me because the screenshots the contributor was using were not present on my version of the browser (or it is always possible that i was lost). this issue is a pain and i sure would appreciate any help thanks, Steve

I've set Downloads, particularly pdfs to open with Acrobat but no matter what I do Offidocs starts. After a long countdown I get a message box that says in essence don't use Offidocs but I can't get rid of it. Please help!!!

~~~SOLVED~~~ Hello guys, this is about some..adults sites, i'm just getting loading error on the screen. Sorry if that's inappropriate. Also recently, youtube videos can't play at 1080p, only 720p, even tho i know the video it's 1080p.

Unfortunately, I downloaded “SaveFrom.net Helper” without reviewing it.

Since downloading it I have been receiving a alerts from “McAfee WebAdvisor” about “dangerous pages blocked”.

I was able to remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” add on in Firefox, but am unable to remove the “Savefrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my normal Firefox Bookmarks.

I can no longer easily see my Firefox Bookmarks and have to keep opening the Firefox Application Menu, then select Bookmarks, then select Manage Bookmarks in order to see my bookmarks.

Can you please advise how I can safely remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my Firefox Bookmarks.

I attempted to install a router but Mozilla sent a caution message that the brand (Net Gear) was insecure. Which brands are secure routers?>I have a Mac Book Air purchased a few months ago and have never had internet at home. This is first attempt. Thanks.

I had a number of tabs open today (~40). Because Firefox started to malfunction, I had to restart Firefox. It happened to me before and I knew that I can restore my previous session so I safely closed the tabs.

When I restarted it, I opened a tab and then I tried to open the Application Menu, but accidentally closed the window. Now, when I've re-opened Firefox and attempted to restore the previous session only that last tab appeared.

Is it possible to recover the pre-previous session? I use Ubuntu 18.04. Where is this information located? and how can I retrieve it?

Image url has jpg at the end, when I save, the extension is webp. webp opens as darkened version of the original image in browser. How to disable webp and save normal fiel that won't be dark? Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. When I am watching a TV stream on my PC; when I hover on (some) pictures or videos, a supremely annoying pop-up url appears at the bottom of my screen. I have some learning problems and can not figure out the 'userChrome.css' method. I can not work with long streams of multiple overlapping instruction. I am not tech savvy. I do not understand 'layers' and stuff like that. I can do the 'about:config' thing, if anyone knows whether or not if I can fix it from there, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.
