I would prefer to be using Firefox rather than Google Chrome, but, my devices when all being logged in with the same account will not all sync as they should be. They will also be synced, but then they would loose their connection with the other ones. The sync should be that when I would simply log into the browser that it would automatically sync using the login information the same easy way it is done in Chrome. I have kept using Chrome, because of the fact that the sync is able to work across all devices simply by logging in for the sync to work & it will work properly to where all of the browsers that would be logged in would be synced, no issues whatsoever. How can I actually login to the sync on everything with there not being any issues of any kind across all devices?

Hallo, Couple of days ago i had briefly full inbox in my email and i attempted to log in to my firefox account from new location. Because of the inbox email was rejected and my account locked. On the forums i have read that it is suppose to be unlocked after 24h. It has been more then 3 days and my account is still locked. I even created report on bugzilla but no one replayed.

Please could you unlock my account (obviously i have access to it form other devices but i rely need it ASAP).

After a fresh windows installation when I tried to sync my firefox account, I have been getting " We have locked your account". I have waited 24 hrs but still getting the same issue. If I lost this account, all my other accounts will be lost Please, help. Thanks & Regards.

I recently got all new devices and traded in my previous ones and when trying to login to Firefox Sync, I can sign in successfully but then I’m required to provide the 6-digit code that is sent to my email. I am unable to login to my email because the password in stored in my Firefox Sync saved passwords.

Attempted to reset my email password (Gmail) but I need to enter the last password that I used, which I have no idea since I’ve always used Firefox Sync and all I get from Google is “we are unable to verify this account belongs to you”. So not much traction on gaining access to my email account.

In my mind, I assumed that by utilizing Firefox Sync as a form of a password manager, I wouldn’t be in this situation as long as I knew my Firefox Sync password. I have since learned otherwise. I can sign-in on accounts.firefox.com but of course making any change requires that I put in the code that was sent via email.

I attempted to download Lockwise and again prompted to enter the code sent via email.

So at this point, I’m just wondering if I’m out of luck and although I know my password to my Firefox account that I’ll be unable to regain access to it or my email because I can’t access the 6-digit code being sent to that email.

Any additional support or suggestions are appreciated but I feel like I’m unfortunately at the end of the line here on what else could be done.

Hi, it's been a while since I used Firefox and I don't seem to have a way of getting back into Sync with my primary e-mail address since I can't find my backup code. Who do I contact to either get my account deleted so I can start again, or get an account reset option set to my e-mail address? Ultimately none of my devices are logged in, and I cannot find my backup code.

The impression I have so far is that you have to sign in with another e-mail account (which is what I have done now), but this is not the e-mail account I want to use.

If Mozilla are storing my name and contact details for the sign in, would the best route be a formal request for deletion of personal data?

I tell you, I have Firefox for a long time, it is my favorite browser, but a few weeks ago I forgot the password; a, I tried to change it, with the keys etc and I could not, so I decided to reset it, of course it hit me because I lost All my bookmarks in folders and in order ... well, the fact is that three days ago I think I went back to my firefox and suddenly I went back to my previous account, that is, as if I had not reset it, it was all there, but Also my problem with the password is back, I can not change it, supposedly I had already done it, but it appears the previous one to which I changed a few days ago, to which I cannot change because I do not remember, and I returned to the same thing, no I want to reset again because maybe the same thing happens, what should I do then? I got a new Mac Pro desktop (not new, but new to me, 2010 model), promptly Downloaded Firefox, signed in, tried to find where to Import all the Bookmarks that I've saved on my MacBook (over the last 6 years, hundreds on bookmarks; including about 30 that I use daily for work) ... COULD NOT FIND THIS AS AN OPTION ANYWHERE!!!! Went to the settings page... Went to Sync Tab... Hit Sync Now... NOW ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS THAT WERE ON MY MacBook have been Deleted & replaced with the only 2 Bookmarks saved on my 'new' MacPro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WENT THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!! How can I get all my BOOKMARKS back and have them on both computers????? SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had all my Bookmarks organized neatly into folders on the toolbar. THEY'RE ALL GONE NOW!

Hi,

I have firefox in my pc and in android, both with the same account and it has been working fine until recently when I noticed that all my bookmarks, suggestions and history disappeared from my pc. I checked if I have the last version, logged out and in again and tried forced syncing and nothing changes. Any idea why can this happen all of a sudden?

I have three devices, a desk top, a laptop and an iPad. The desktop is running a very outdated version of Firefox which means it is not compatable just to update it. The forum tried to help me with this a while back, but it was deemed not to be possible, and the best way would have been to do a fresh new install, but there was noway to save log-ins/passwords bookmarks. My devices all have the Firefox sync and that is so far working well. My question is, if I dragged my PC's Firefox into the present by performing a fresh new install, would my synced items install ok....after invoking the Sync feature on the new install. Logic tells me this should be so, as it worked ok with the new iPad, but I know from experience that logic doesn't always come into play. (Windows7) Many thanks
