I installed 77.0a1 and CPU usage is through the roof. Nightly used to idle at 20-40 energy consumption units in macOS, which is a lot, but as soon as I updated it jumped to 200, and 150% cpu usage in a 4 core system. The fan is blowing at full speed, and about:performance doesn't tell me anything useful, as usual.

I need to downgrade but I can't find a catalog of older nightly builds.

The What's New menu item/widget has not updated since January 7, 2020. I'm not sure if there are just no new updates being posted there, or if there is something wrong with the feature. I've seen this error on all versions of Firefox Nightly and Firefox (stable release) from, well January, to present date.

After a crash, I'm having a strange problem where firefox (nightly 69.0a1+20190604+hdfc513e7e141 , Arch Linux AUR package, under GNOME Wayland) only actually loads/renders web pages if run with the command-line switch

`--profile ~/.mozila/firefox/xxxxxxxx`

where `xxxxxxxx` is the path to the default profile. If I omit the command-line switch, firefox seems to run fine except that no connections are ever successfully made and all pages remain blanck.

I imagine there is a corrupted file somewhere but i don't understand why the default profile would work fine when it is explicitly invoked with the `--profile` switch, but not otherwise.
