please allow me to stop firefox for making tab groups. I already checked the setting "Use AI to suggest tabs and a name for tab groups" but you don't have a setting that eliminates tab groups altogether. these tab groups keep popping up and messing up my tab organization. thank you

1. How to save a tab group without closing it? 2. How to make individual tabs in a tab group permanent? (So when you close a tab group only the permanent members are preserved.)

i had multiple tabs set up in multiple groups and i used yo restore these every day when i rebooted every morning and all that is lost to me now. i can see that the groups are there but can no longer use them. how can i uninstall mozilla firefox

Hi why have firefox started to close tabs when browser beeing closed? Allready checked the usual sugggestions like open previous, private mode etc. Assuming this relates to an update because have same issue on several computers ( same account)

Добрый день. Проблема наблюдается примерно около полугода. В браузере открыто несколько вкладок, не закрываются (новости, ВК, поиск, различные статьи и тд.). Происходит следующее: читаю активную вкладку, строго через определенное время, без каких-либо действий с моей стороны, активная вкладка меняется, т.е. открыты вкладки 1-5, активная 2, через 10 мин (до переустановки мозиллы всегда одно время) активной становится 4, к примеру. Раньше фокус перемещался на вкладку поиска Yandex, если закрыть вкладку с Яндексом проблема уходила! Я удалил браузер Yandex и все что было от него (автозагрузку, планировщик заданий), переустановил Firefox. Какое-то время все работает, но потом начинается снова, тут время переключения меняется. В последний раз (после удаления Яндекса) фокус стал переключаться на mail.ru, значит яндекс тут не при чем. Если закрыть Mail проблемы нет, если открыть страницу снова, то примерно через 1 мин. открывается mail.ru. Доп. информация Windows 11, плагинов и расширений в мозилле нет, пробовал работать в безопасном режиме браузера - не помогает, перезагрузка не помогает, помогает только закрытие "маркированных" страниц, проверял на вирусы NOD32, cureIT в безопасном режиме работы ОС, вирусов нет. Очень прошу помочь с решением!

How can I disable the hidden tabs feature, my tabs are being hidden in the upside down arrow whenever I'm not using them, I don't want that to happen, how can I stop it?

You have a split-screen feature. That's awesome! Please make it accessible through the context menu (right-click), so I can hover over a link and select it from the context menu. So I can do it through the context menu instead of through tabs.

I've recently come across the issue stated in the title. I've turned the setting off and on again, tried with the setting on and off, and it keeps automatically swapping to the new tab 95% of the time. There are a couple times that it wont swap but it more than certainly happens on the 2nd try. I believe this started happening after update 148 was installed.

This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!

I use Tab Groups quite frequently. I am not a fan of the new functionality built into it.

So now if I close a group, one tab within that group will stay open if I was just on the page. It will not close until I go to another page and click close on the tab group again. Frustrating! Why cant I just open and close as usual?

Is there a way to get rid of this feature and still keep tab groups?

I have an issue. I noticed now that if i click on one of my 300 tabs of website tabs, it automatically goes to some domain reseller and removes the whole link / information on the link that shows which tag or data i had on that link in the tab. If that makes any sense?

I hadnt yet gone through renaming all the tabs when the website changed domainbs and now i am unable to as the minute the tab wakes up from beind discarded, instead of coming up as can not find website (at which point in the past i could just change the 2 characters to the right domain), it goes to the domain reseller and removes the whole link / data that it used to point to.

Anyone know of a way i can do change the links on a mass scale of all the tabs i have?

I have vertical tabs turned on. Say i want to watch a movie, i press F11 or fullscreen to open it fullscreen. It makes the whole page fullscreen, but the vertical tabs remain still on the left. I want that fixed so that vertical tabs are hidden when its fullscreen.

Firefox is repeatedly opening many "previous tabs and windows". I looked for solutions on the Help and online.

I unticked the box "open previous tabs and windows" days ago and have repeatedly restarted Firefox and my computer since then. I have done all updates. I am using Windows 11 on a Lenova T480s.

I am over this and will switch to another browser soon if a solution accessible to me (ie I am not a techie and I don't have money to pay someone) is not offered.

Please note I find my browser history useful. I don't want to delete this on the routine off chance it may solve this problem that Firefox have invented.

The interface is terrible, it makes me completely unwilling to use the browser. Why make the tabs merge without any separation????!! It's disgusting!!

How can I change the tabs' appearance so they appear as individual tiles instead of a continuous view?

Hello- When I am on a website and click link I would expect and want a new Tab to open-- I want it to open it in a new Tab and leave the page I'm on alone so I can go back to the original page.

Instead, Firefox overwrites that page and the tab with the a new one, and I have to hit the back button to get back to that original page. And most often the back arrow button is grayed out and I can't get back at all.

In settings, I've tried checking the box for: 'Open links in tabs instead of new windows' but that doesn't do it. I've also tried checking the box, 'When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately,' and that doesn't do it either.

I know that a work-around is to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link, but I'd like to set it as a default so I don't have to do that. That's a pain and not a natural function when browsing. To be sure, I want to click on links and that creates a new Tab without Ctrl Keys.
