Someone else used my computer to log in to their gmail account a long time ago. Now, everytime I want to log in to my gmail account, their profile pops up. I can't log in to delete it, and it is annoying because I'm always asked to log in to their email first...rather than my own. I could easily delete the user when I log on using google chrome...

Having a large number of websites and respective access passwords saved in Firefox Mozilla, it would be very convenient to be able to export this information to the new machine after installing Firefox, as one can do with Bookmarks. Is this possible for websites+passwords?

I have tried restoring everything via my pc (windows 8.1). I have tried restoring Firefox. The saved passwords and User names are gone. I set up a Linux OS on my computer and wanted to export all my login data from Firefox Quantum in Windows to it. I tried looking everywhere for what to do, but can't find anything. I've tried syncing my Firefox account, copying then pasting everything from my Firefox profile in Windows into the Firefox profile in Linux, however it only imported my bookmarks and none of my login information. Is there a way that I am missing or may have overlooked that will allow me to export all the login information so I don't have to reconfigure everything?

I am currently using Ubuntu 18.04 and Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 64-bit. On some websites, I am unable to select the password field either using tab or a mouse click to be able to enter a password. This leaves me unable to login. However, this doesnt seem to happen on all password fields.
For example on https://reddit.com I can enter username and password on the field on the right. However, if I click on Login hyperlink on 'Want to join? Log in or sign up in seconds.', I get a popup which I am unable to click the password field on.
I have also seen this problem on https://abnzb.com
I have tried to run in safe-mode but the problem persists.
My addons are Gnome shell integration, Enhanced Steam, HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock origin.
Also, to add to this. When I right click on the password text fields, I do not get a menu popup. I am not sure if this is related or not.

Ok a couple of days ago I had to do a refresh on firefox has I was getting very slow speeds with a lot of sites, which actually fixed the problem but now iv got a bigger problem that is now firefox will NEVER remember none of my passwords, and I don't even get the box asking would I like to save passwords.
Iv check all the settings ie Private browsing is set to off / Remember log in sites is checked, made sure that clear settings was all turned off when shutting off FireFox ect ect, and even when i open up the saved logins tab the box is blank, tried to import saved passwords from MS + Chrome ( not at the same time ) it tells me that its done but still nothing shows up and still doesn't remember any passwords when logging in to sites.
I don't have any other password mangers on my system so there is no conflicts at all, everything was working fine apart from slow surfing before I done this refresh

This is similar but different than my earlier question. On one computer when I open Firefox it automatically logs me into my home page (a Yahoo mail account.) When I open a new tab to my gmail login it comes up with my user name already filled in. All I have to do is click on NEXT and it goes to the sign in page with my password filled in. I can't get firefox on my my other computer to do this. My home page comes up with my user name filled in, but I have to manually go through the login process. When I open gmail in a new tab, I can't do anything except: 1. hit ENTER and get an error message, then click in the username box, or 2. re-click on the gmail icon to re-open the tab. Once I have done either of these the page comes up with two login names -the correct one and some weird one. (I haven't been able to get rid of the weird name, either.) I'd like to be able to set things so Firefox will do the same on this computer as it does on the other one.
Anyone have any suggestions?

But I went ahead and asked for link to reset password, did so several times, and still cannot enter into my Wordpress dashboard. This is definitely a Firefox issue, as I can access my WordPress account through Safari and Google Chrome. I want to continue to use Firefox, but cant if I cannot use it to access critical pages for my business.

Even with the check in the box to remember, Firefox will not remember user name or password for any web site I log into. It will ask me if I want it to remember, to which I click remember. but it never show's up in my Saved Password List, and it never remembers user name or password.
I have followed the support links and went over in detail multiple times.
This is a new setup, on windows 10 pro and FF 43, Vipre internet security. I did look at vipre but didnt see anything about saving passwords in a browser. Edge, and Chrome will remember them. Just firefox wont. so it dont appear to be an outside force causing the problem.
I tried setting a master password. it remembered that, but didnt change anything. so I removed the master password.
