After updating to version 138.0, the browser put up an announcement page that informed me that I now have access to a great new feature, tab groups. It's actually a great addition to the browser IMO.

But it's absent. I read the announcement page, then the help page it links to. Every description is inapplicable to my browser, there us no drag-over behavior for tabs, there is no "add tab to new group" option when right clicking. I updated to 138.0.1, same thing. There is a topic in Connect.mozilla.org about tab groups as a beta feature, and it's been up in beta since March. But my browser does not have it.

Granted, the help page vaguely says that no all users will see this feature as it's rolled out gradually until May 6th. But why then tell me that I already have it on update? And why is it rolled out gradually if it's already been in beta?

I have set the option to "Open previous windows and tabs" at Startup. But sometimes when I restart Firefox it starts out blank. Then I looked into how I could restore previous session but contrary to the article below, I couldn't find "Restore Previous Session" option under Settings/History. Please advise what I am missing. I found the tab groups more annoying than useful, so I went into about:studies and removed it, but doing so just makes a study entirely disappear with no way to bring it back if you misclicked, so that made me wonder, is removing studies permanent? Is it impossible to opt back in once you've opted out of a particular study?

I'm not particularly regretting my choice in this case, but it made me nervous how easy it would be to lose access to a feature just by accidentally clicking the wrong thing.

I have a firefox that saves each and every window it displays. I would prefer having only the existing windows in my system. For instance, when I click on Firefox and goto all windows there is one only, not 2 to 50 of them. This happens with only one machine and I want to stop it.

I thought I had already sent this but I couldn't find it.

So I have this habbit I love which is opening a link on a new tab, then continue browsing the content on my old tab until the new one loads, or when I am done reading through it. Recently, firefox has been switching automatically to the new tab once it loads, which interrupts my workflow/reading a lot.

Is there a way I can stop this or turn this feature off? I believe I start experiencing this after an update.

Why does firefox insist on opening hot links in the same window?

No matter what I change in the Settings all of the hot links keep opening in the same window.

Добрый день. В процессе использования браузера, вкладки самовольно перезагружаются. Играю в браузерную игру и ни с того ни с сего вкладка сама по себе перезагружается, выкидывая меня из игры. Это происходит по непонятным причинам. В настройках я отключил автообновление вкладок (about:config - accessibility.blockautorefresh: - true). Там стояло значение false. Но вкладки все равно обновляются без моего участия. Это происходит на всех моих профилях в Фаерфокс. Как это остановить? Это мешает мне пользоваться браузером и комфортно играть.

Received new version of Firefox (v138). New feature of tab groups does not function for me as advertised in article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups#w_create-a-tab-group. I drag a tab to another tab, and they do not cluster as shown in that article. Any ideas here?

Hi. I use firefox version 133.03 (64 bit) and have issues when on x.com's website. It will randomly open new tabs constantly. I have tried multiple options with settings on firefox and my pc, blocked new windows from opening, and disabled pop-ups. Checked my extensions and tried disabling all and that did not affect anything. I have run scans for viruses, malware, etc., and nothing comes up.

Any advice? It gets pretty annoying having to close the repeating tabs to be able to view the site.

Noticed a major problem in Fire Fox, that must be corrected! I usually have 2-20 FF sessions open and 5-20 tabs also open in each FF session. FF used to let you see up to about 15 tabs, displaying them and responsively compressing the width of the tabs,to let you see what is open, but now it only displays 3 tabs, requiring you to actually scroll right or left to find the tabs open.

Totally unacceptable! This maybe OK for NEWBIES, but we pros and Developers need to see everything without scrolling to find it.

Otherwise I totally need a different Browser!

Is there a setting that prevents Firefox from closing immediately when the X in the upper right corner is clicked? Thinking a question "Are you sure that you want to close Firefox" should pop up. Recently I've closed Firefox accidentally and lost all of my open tabs (I don't keep history).

help me restore all tabs if possible, there were more than 200 tabs i need to restore them. i tried to restore them through journal and other profiles but there were empty tabs there too.
