I'm afraid I've tinkered around too much while not knowing what I'm really doing. it seems as though I've caused havoc and can't tell where/what I've done wrong. Its astounding how convoluted site disclaimers can be for cookies, ads, info sharing etc., and my tiny brain isn't savvy enough to know how to protect myself without going overboard. Is there a way to reset default settings and start over using a tutorial or something?

Well, it's happened. I am using the unbranded build specifically so that I do not have to have signed or verified extensions. But tonight my browser broke anyway because of the expiring CA TLS certs for the add-ons repository.
"One or more installed add-ons cannot be verified and have been disabled [Learn More]". If I click the [Learn More] button nothing happens. It just disappears.
And when I check: "uBlock Origin could not be verified for use in Nightly and has been disabled."
This should not be happening in the unbranded builds. I imagine it is happening in the custom Debian esr too. They're supposed to allow unsigned/unverified extensions/add-ons but now this apparently bug is happening.
To be clear, this was expected for normal Firefox releases with all normal extension signing stuff. But that was explicitly not supposed to be required for the unbranded builds. And so this is a bug.
(sad) please fix this bug? or problem please?

Dear Mozilla support,
I represent a company that is providing a SaaS-service, in said service our marketing teams wants to implement thirdparty scripts, but we need to make sure that those scripts don't have access to the DOM to ensure the confidentiality of the information in the service.
What I've found out so far is that fenced frames seems to be a good way to solve this, see the following https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/fencedframe.
However the implementation for this element is still lacking in firefox, so i'm wondering if it will be implemented and when if so. We know that the feature is still experimental but it's something we would like to test and see if it's the way forward for our thirdparty scripts.

Hi! I'm having trouble with Firefox while shopping on Scottish Kilt Co., a store for custom kilts and Scottish accessories. The website is slow to load, and some images aren’t displaying properly. Is there something in my browser settings I need to adjust for a smoother shopping experience?
I’ve already cleared my cache and updated Firefox, but the problem persists. Any tips on improving performance or troubleshooting would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site
news.google.com is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by Private Internet Access, which is either software on your computer or your network.
What can you do about it?
news.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.
If your antivirus software includes a feature that scans encrypted connections (often called “web scanning” or “https scanning”), you can disable that feature. If that doesn’t work, you can remove and reinstall the antivirus software. If you are on a corporate network, you can contact your IT department. If you are not familiar with Private Internet Access, then this could be an attack, and there is nothing you can do to access the site.

For about a year I have, several times, tried to use a link or a pop up that doesn't work in Firefox but can be accomplished in Safari. Today, I used a credit card to pay for something on the UFT.org website. It worked. I needed to make another purchase on the same website and page but I got a message that there was an error with my credit card info. I tried again. I tried another credit card. I signed out and back in and repeated everything and still got the same message. I copied the url, went to Safari, pasted the url, entered my info and was successful in making the payment. I am using Firefox 133.0.3. What might be happening to cause these problems?

I have blocked all websites from accessing my geolocation by default in the privacy settings and there are no exceptions on the list.
And yet,
1) many websites I visit seem to have my geolocation, even though I have never shared any information with them
2) the last two suggestions on the first page when I search for anything are always linked to my location
How is this possible? How do I fix it?
Thank you

Something's gone wrong We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later. If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over. I can access using Chrome. How can I access without changing from Firefox?

Greetings Firefox Support/CommunityL
While reconnecting one of my computers to my Firefox account I saw at the top of the Settings Page: "Your settings are being managed by your organization". Problem is that I don't belong to any organizations or enterprises having anything to do with my online life. I have been hacked in the past and am paranoid when I see something that doesn't make sense. When I click on the link (trusting that it is indeed from you), it takes me to your Enterprise Policy page showing the following:
Active
Policy Name Policy Value
DNSOverHTTPS Enabled false Locked true
I always use secure DNS (DOH or DOT) on everything - network adapters, routers (except the ISP one whose default I can't figure out to circumvent) etc. but on the browser setting pages I am only given the option of having it off: the default, increased, and max protection options are greyed out and cannot be chosen. I guess that explains the policy values but who locked it? My only guess is that is use a Surfshark VPN and realize that in so doing I am using Surfshark's DNS servers but I believe I had this problem before using the VPN. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

I am getting notifications with the Mozilla logo or sometimes with McAfee logo saying "5 Viruses found, your computer is unstable" and various other warnings. They all also say "via qltuh.titanicooler.top" I have attached a picture.
I have closed the browser, I tried clearing my cache, I have scanned using both AVG, AVAST, F-Secure Online Scanner, and Microsoft Safet Scanner. I am not quite sure what else I should do.
Thank You

I have multiple google accounts, one is for work which requires VPN login and an extra password. When I type calendar or Gmail into the address bar, it takes me directly to this account. Switching to my personal account requires me to log in to a VPN, do DFA, then switch accounts. How can I ask Firefox to log in to my personal account first instead?
Thanks!
