Hello,

A couple of months ago I discovered that I no longer have the ability to edit, delete, or dismiss a shortcut from the home page of my desktop. I did read that the 3 dots will appear if I hover over a shortcut. I tried that several times on different shortcuts but the 3 dots never appeared. Is there another way to edit, delete, or dismiss a shortcut? Or even better is there a way to restore the 3 dots?

I cleared my cookies, cache, history and data like I was told to when I connected a new router so all of my shortcuts have changed. A few that are there now I don't want and I do want to add several new ones.

I'm not very good at English, so I use a translator. After updating to the latest version of Firefox, the problem I'm having is that when I play a YouTube video on the web side, the playback box will have a large white colour, as shown in the red box below. I would like to know what is causing this, my current version is 123.0

I am trying to edit /etc/hosts file. CLI utils respect the values that provided there, Chrome also.

But the Firefox continues to ignore. I have disabled "Enable DNS over HTTPS using:" and turned it off.

But it doesn't help. What else could be done?

Firefox View Open Tabs is my favorite feature. I (used to) use it daily, but now, even though I have NUMEROUS windows (over 40) and multiple tabs in many of those windows, View Open Tabs is completely empty. I'd very much like to restore that 'index' without losing all those pages/tabs (it's my reading & ToDo list).

Sometime recently, I found it using gobs of CPU even though Javascript was (and still is) disabled, so I found the top CPU process and killed it. Instead of a single page going blank, Firefox crashed. Sometime after that I noticed that View Open Tabs was no longer populating. Maybe that contributed or instigated the dysfunction?

I discovered two issues with Firefox on my Wayland Gnome. Picture-in-picture windows should be opened with the "always on top" attribute, but in Wayland they are not on top. It's not a big deal to manually set always-on-top. Although I need to remember to do this after the window appears. The second problem is related to selecting multiple tabs. I should be able to detach selected tabs from the window by dragging them from the tab bar. A new window is then created with the selected tabs. This doesn't work in my Wayland. I can detach one tab, but not multiple tabs at once. I can still move multiple tabs from one window to another open window. So, as a workaround, on Wayland I need to open a new window and then move the selected tabs there. Which is inconvenient. I am curious if anyone else noticed these things on Wayland. There might be something wrong with my instance of Wayland.

I am trying to zoom in and out on a webpage JUST the elements. I DO NOT want the text to zoom in or out when I do this. I was able to do this within the last couple of days here, but cannot remember How I did so..

No way to ASK a question in the Monitor section, there is no GET HELP button.

Didn't there used to be a Discussions forum, where you could see all of the questions being asked?

I have tried restarting both firefox and my computer, disabled all extensions and started firefox in safe mode. When I try to right click on a firefox window from the taskbar it just disappears.

I have my computer connected to my TV so often when I open it up some windows will be on my TV which is behind my desk so its a pain to move them back without this function.

I have been working for Data Annotation for nearly a month and never got this error before. I need this money for rent! I'm trying really hard not to freak out here but today is the deadline for rent and the only way I'll get that money is to log on to this website so I need help and I need it now.

Last night I made the mistake of clicking a sketchy link on twitter thinking what it was some meme site( the person who tweeted is someone I know personally so I thought it was safe) once I clicked on it, I wasn’t redirected to the site so I thought it was weird then once I learned that he deleted it because it was compromised. I got scared and I was running scans through Microsoft defender. After the full scan it said that it detected Trojan:HTML/Phish!pz and the affected files where C:\Users\….\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\cq0glqqq.default-release\cache2\entries. I deleted my cache a few hours later than I should.

So I reached out to a friend and they told me that it was probably was a false flag and I didn’t need to delete my cache. But I’m nervous that it’s an actual threat and I should do more to ensure my computer is completely safe. Also probably a lot of grammar mistakes I haven’t slept since I got this information.

So my internet speed is around 100 Mbps but i only get 10 to 12 Kbps when download a small file, idk why because i tried using ethernet and it is still 10 to 12 kbps (sorry for bad english)

I have tried to download the newest VDH Companion App (via the link on the github.com webpage) Seven (yes, 7) times and every time the download Fails or I get "Zero bytes". I tried to contact "Support" but there is only a Support Forum and nobody else has posted this as an issue that I was able to find when I searched. So no support is offered. The website suggests that I create an account to be able to post a new issue. However, Every time I have tried to set up a github.com account, I am Unable to do so. The page to set up an account either doesn't load OR if it loads, I can not add any information to it. I am a VDH Registered User and until this morning, the current VDH app I am using, version 8.2.1.1 was working just fine. But now when I try to use it, it says that my VDH Companion App needs to be updated. But I can not even download it to update it. I am running the current version of FF, 123.0.1 on an iMac with Sonoma OS 14.4. We used to be able to email Mig but not anymore. The github.com support page is unwieldy at best and I see that numerous requests for help or support have not been answered or even acknowledged. I am a paid Registered user with a license, but that doesn't seem to matter. I, like many others from what I read online, count on using this app almost every day and I would think that the mechanism for updates should be working correctly. The update files I tried to download came across at crazy low speeds, like 20.1 to 40.5 Kbps! I spent over an hour with Tech Support for HughesNet and much to my chagrin, No Other Websites had any issues with download speed. It was only happening on the github.com website and this one file update. Sorry if TMI but I am just trying to thorough.

Can you tell me the key(s) to open the AI Chatbot sidebar under Firefox Labs? (or implement one if you haven't) every time i hit the X to close it (as it takes up a lot of space) there is no easy way (that i can find) to reopen it without clicking through a bunch of stuff. Thanks!

I am getting multiple pop-ups from Mozilla. When I close them they continually pop up again. They are warning me of a 'system Alert' about infection or virus. click on them they are trying to sell me Norton anti virus products. I have Mcafee and its showing no problems. How can I get rid of these annoyances? Thank You

I keep trying, but to no avail. Gmail works with Chrome on my PC. How can I fix this?

I need to change my email address as my provider is closing down. I have seen the suggestion that I make a secondary with my new address but this will nor work as I have the secondary address with the same provider.

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. For the past week, when I sign into Facebook, the news feed is constantly refreshing itself. Once in a while the first post will stay, but the remainder of the news feed keeps refreshing. It is impossible to read anything as posts flash on and off, mostly off. The news feed is the only thing that is affected, visiting pages for likes and groups load and display properly, as do the games I play. The same occurs if in the private window mode. This does not happen if in the Chrome browser. What can be done to correct this situation?
