every time I enter some words for a search the system blocks access with an "I'm Not A Robot" process. while I always get past this it is annoying and has only started happening in the last few days.

In May 2025 all browsers should have removed the default styling for the h1 element when it is nested in a sectioning element (article, aside, nav, section). I went into Firefox Dev Editions user-agent style sheet and noticed that the styling for nested h1 elements is still the same. I'm wondering why that is the case, since I was under the impression that all the major browsers had completed make the necessary adjustments at the end of May 2025.

I am trying to use a <select> tag to display a color selector. So each <option> has a background color to match its displayed text:

On Chrome this displays as expected:

Just today my UI elements went missing. For example I cant see my bookmarks on the bookmark toolbar, new tab sign disappeared. Addons are not the issue, I have refreshed multiple times with no addons installed. The bookmarks are all there, except somethings messing with the firefox. Started in safe mode, but in vain. Checked the group policy in the registry but nothing out of the ordinary. I deleted the policy, did a fresh install and still the problem persists. Tried switching hw acceleration on/off as well.

Any help is appreciated, I never had any problems with firefox before.

I don't need to pin tabs, ever. Every time I try and drag a tab to the first slot, it always pins the tab, and I don't want it to do that. Is there a way to disable this stupid feature?

I am unable to reach Facebook on both Firefox and Waterfox.

Other browsers (Opera, Edge, Chrome) are able to access Facebook.

I can access other Meta-owned sites (Messenger.com, Instagram, Threads) on Firefox and Waterfox.

This issue exists on both my desktop (Windows 10) and laptop (Windows 11).

This issue does not apply to Firefox for iOS or the Facebook app.

All apps and OS's mentioned are up to date.

This has been going on for over a week now.

After a windows update(W 10), I had to reinstall Firefox, but everything has disappeared! All links to apps, my files, Bookmarks etc. How can I get my Firefox details back? Thanks for your help. Dave Neild

Hi,

Firefox Developer Edition 126.0b7 (64-bit) shows a perpetual "Loading" screen when trying to access my internal Logitec Media Server at 127.0.0.1:9001.

Other browsers like Waterfox Classic have no trouble, so LMS is working fine.

I tried cleaning the cookies, disabling the firewall (Windows 10), that did not help/

Any idea how to solve this?

For years, I have used print to pdf in Firefox to generate pdf files of long web pages. It always worked. But lately, I noticed that huge numbers of blank pages are inserted in the pdf file, seemingly at random. I looked at the HTML source, and could not see anything that obviously triggers the blank pages. For example, a web page that ought to print to about 35 pages generates a file of more than 600 pages, with most of them blank.

I can use Microsoft Edge as an alternative, but pdf files from that browser strip out all the color, and are nevertheless super huge, about ten times larger than the ones from Firefox. E.g. the file mentioned above, about 35 pages, would be about 1.3 MB from firefox, and 12 MB from Edge. So getting the file from Firefox would be nice.

Is there a reason why print to pdf is behaving in this strange way, and anything I can do about it?

My wife's Firefox was triggered from an e-mail link and in the process got updated to release 141.0 The result is that the tabs from the previous verion have not loaded. Can I still recover them?

I can no longer log into my social security account using Firefox, but the login does work on edge. When I try login on Firefox, I get the following error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

The initial web site is https://www.ssa.gov/. From there I hit "Sign in", and get to https://secure.ssa.gov/RIL/SiView.action using Edge, but get just the error message using Firefox.

There is another route, which is through https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/. Hitting either account or sign in on that page will work on Edge, but gives the same error message on Firefox.

Why aren't pull-down menus, behaving consistently, on Firefox on an M1-Max Mac on macOS Sonoma ?

The pulldown-menus don't persist, long-enough to click-upon a selection .

I have several virtual desktops: Desktop 1, 2, 3 and 4. Case 1: Assume that there is at least one opening Firefox window in any virtual desktop. And, if I try to open a new window in Desktop x (x = 1, ..., 4), it will appears in Desktop x as expected. Case 2: Assume that there are currently no opening Firefox windows in any virtual desktop. And, if I try to open a new window in Desktop 2 or 3 or 4, it will only appears in Desktop 1.

I read that I can purchase a VPN installation. Do I need to buy three separate VPN installations or one with a single login and password?

This is the 4th time I've reported this problem. Here's the warning I get every day only after I have already been loading Newsmax pages with no problems:

There are no other sites in which I have this problem with FF x64 DE. In Edge, I see the newsmax pages load while the FF x64 DE https//newsmax.com xontinues to genberate the above message and fails to load the screen.

Please fix.

I was working with responsive view mode and noticed that sensor scroll with mouse is broken. I checked on another PC and the problem there too. I don't know how to describe it, but I made a video and uploaded it to a website so you can watch it.
