"Go back one page" doesn't work correctly with YouTube. 50% of the time it just changes the url, but doesn't load the page, and the video keeps playing. You have to refresh a page to properly load it

Hello guys,

I started having a weird problem a few months ago. Since I was overwhelmed with work and travels in the past months I just found a quick workaround by using Chrome, but I'm much more used to Firefox than Chrome I'd like to solve this issue once and for all.

So I'm getting 99% of my work on Fiverr. I'm averaging between 20 and 40 orders per month meaning that I need to upload all sorts of files everyday. Whenever I click the 'attach' button, doesn't matter whether in the message section or in the delivery section my entire browser freezes. Even if I waited for some time (I've tried up to 60 minutes), it wouldn't unfreeze. Same in private window, same if I disable all addons. I even refreshed Firefox, but the problem persists.

In Chrome or Edge the problem doesn't exist. Neither does it on my mobile device. Not sure how to troubleshoot that.

Any ideas?

Firefox will not open a link posted on emails sent to me. A new tab will open but will not go anywhere. It stays blank. I have to copy the link, and click paste and go on a new tab to open the link. I do not have this problem utilizing Opera or chrome. Any thoughts?

Yesterday 1-2-23 I lost my tabs. When I tried to restore them I followed the suggestions listed in "help". I clicked on the "menu" on the top right of my browser, found the "history" and selected it. The "restore" option did not appear. On my macbook pro 2012 os 10.13.6 I had 3 "desktop" selections. I had a browser window on each of the desktops that held multiple tabs. The third "desktop" was the "dashboard" which mostly had widgets. Somehow the browser window from one of the Desktops was applied to the dashboard and when I tried to remove it the result was that it closed and was removed from all desktops.

How can I find the sessions or tabs that were present on Jan 1 or before? I'm not that tech savy and would love to be able to speak with a real person that would be able to walk me through a solution if there is a solution.

12/23/22 After trying for a week to install your mozilla software (thinking this would help to install google play store apps) on my Dell windows pc - it never worked so I requested a refund. I still need assistance in using the firefox browser to install a google play store app specifically the LaView app. Would appreciate your assistance. Henry Mazik

When ever I skip a youtube video using the arrow keys it has a ~1 second audio delay. But if I have two youtube tabs open (not home page) it works just fine. I'm using the same extensions I used in chrome and there is no delay.

Firefox is my default browser. I downloaded a Medicare form and the document was not legible (letters, numbers, odd symbols, etc.). The Medicare chat rep suggested I try another browser. I opened Safari and downloaded the same form and it was legible. What should I do to enable Firefox to produce legible downloads of Medicare forms?

My browser has been shaking/crashing/jumping when I scroll on either Tumblr or (more recently) Youtube. The shaking/crashing has gotten increasingly worse, and reinstalling did not fix it. I attempt to set off the shaking/crashing in troubleshoot mode, but couldn't make it happen. When I got out of troubleshooting mode it happened instantly.

I have facebook container, privacy badger and ublock origin. What can I do to potentially fix the problem.

Streaming on xfinity -- Firefox starts hogging memory and increasing cpu activity for no apparent reason. I have to quit FF and restart to regain speed, and the process starts over again.

Can you please get this fixed?

Doesn't appear on other logins (attached) - just Google gmail login appears to be the issue.

When I open a new tab it always opens next to the source eg to the right of the tab i am using. Which is great and I prefer this.

But when I click a link from outside firefox to open a web page it always opens on the far right tab. Is there a way to change this so it opens to the right of current tab like normal?

All the bookmarks at the top of the Firefox page have suddenly disappeared from view. How do I get them back in view? They are still there if I look under "Bookmarks," but not as accessible.

Running Firefox 108 on Mac OS Mojave, version 10.14.6. I did nt make any recent changes.

When I use the import feature on the bookmarks bar Firefox doesn't detect the Chrome browser. I get the following message: "No programs that contain bookmarks, history or password data could be found."
