Hello! I'm on Windows 11 and when trying to update QBittorrent, if I download the last setup.exe from it's official source with Firefox, the file won't open. No error message, no crash, nothing. No amount of double click or "run as admin" will get it to budge. I've had the problem with the last three versions of QBittorrent.

However, when I download the same .exe from the same website with Microsoft Edge, it runs like a charm and I'm able to update QBittorent.

What's weird is that it's not even consistent; I always get that bug with QBittorrent but the other .exe files I downloaded run just fine. I only use Windows Defender for malware protection and it doesn't see the QBittorrent file as a menace. I tried downloading the file to another location than my desktop but the issue persists.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

I want to add the Bookmarks to my Browser page. The schematic says I need to press the Toolbar button, but on my latest version of Firefox there is no Toolbar button. Then I have another problem with your instructions. I had to Download something called Filelink. It directed me the Preference section on my menu under More Tools. Accept there is no such thing on my version of Firefox. I have to send a video of about 54 seconds to someone via Thunderbird email, so need to know how I'm going to do it.

As I said in the Subject I just bought Total AV this month, now its disabled on Firefox. Is this a permanent action? or is this a temporary action? How can/will I get my Antivirus back in action on Firefox?

So, I had three windows open in private mode, then the (stupid) software decides to crash (or rather, restart automatically for an update) and I lose all those tabs from those windows (ALTHOUGH NOT MY CHOICE, OR FAULT) then several search results say install PrivateBrowsingHistoryRecovery add on, however the links go nowhere. Surely Mos FuryInducingF_x don't prevent the installation of an add on that might actually make their software better, useful?

Appreciate any advice.

I found Agent_10_9_9 on my C:\ drive. I don't know what this is. I don't remember ever installing it. Evidently, it was installed Dec 2019 or Jan 15,2020. Thank you! Margaret mbbristol57@yahoo.com

Unable to install Firefox on WIN11. Wants to create a profile but get "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved. (This is a new Desktop unit I received today and have not had any problems with WIN10.

I have 3 user accounts,Admin,Guest and Visitor.The Admin User account has updated successfully from version 113.0 to Version 120.0,the latest version.When I tried to update the Guest Account and the Visitor Account from version 113 to version 120 I got a notification "Firefox cannot update automatically,download the latest version"but I already have the latest version downloaded in the Admin account.When I checked in Programs there is one Firefox icon version 120.0 and two other icons 113.0.

I have been receiving the following error code 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' on several website on my Firefox browser. Sometime, not all the time, I get the same error message while trying to use YouTube, while other times the site loads but says that I am offline and no internet connection. I have done all of the fixes that they say to use online and nothing seems to work. YouTube will occasionally work but none of the thumbnails will show up. Then there are other site that work fine.

I've lost all my open tabs....and I can see them in history, but when I open any historical item,...it loads it over the top of the only open tab I now have...as a result I only have one tab. Its a mess what have you done?

When I try to use youtube.com on Firefox I have problems with the page loading correctly. The sidebar menu doesn't populate leaving only a white space where all the options should be. When I click on a video a red progress bar will fill about 75% of the way and then just hang and the video will never load.

I have tried clearing my cache and cookies, deleting all data, refreshing my browser at least 5 times and ran under troubleshooting (safe) mode but the same issue persists.

This does NOT happen under Edge at all, only with Firefox.

Hello all. I'd like to restore the backspace button function but the previously workable solution — resetting browser. backspace_action to 0 — is not working for me. Any hints as to why that might be the case?

I'm having an issue with Fidelity Investments website logging me off after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. Before Fidelity's website redesign, I could go at least 30 minutes or more without having to login again. It seems now I have to login constantly.

I have contacted Fidelity, but the said it was a Firefox issue, however, I cannot find any information about this issue (or I don't know where to look).

How do I extend the time before needing to login again? Thoughts on if is this even a Firefox issue or is it Fidelity's website?

52.9.0esr is claimed to be the last version for XP. Unfortunately it is not quite true. It is for XP SP2 ONLY. Trying to install on SP3 ends with the message that SP2 is required. IMO the installer is simply too strict on demanding exact version of SP ! https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/52.9.0/system-requirements/

I went through the list of versions (thanks Mozilla that they all are still available!) and found that the last version I can install is... version... 12.0b6. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/12.0/system-requirements/

And indeed I installed 12.0b6 successfully but I would like to install 52.9.

How do I paste in the game forge of empires chat windows with my mouse and without clipboard, it will only allow me to use clipboard control V for keyboard not my mouse, using my mouse to select all, copy, it's fine, cannot use paste with mouse,

I do not have any mobile device to sync with Firefox. HOWEVER, I would like to sync with Outlook.com from Microsoft. Centurylink my ISP provider was off-line for quite a while so they could create a better email program and when they finally came back online, last week, there were a list of things in computer language that I am supposed to do but do not understand. Like you, whenever I want to ask a question I have to send it via email then the response is the same thing listed in their instructions, NO HELP at all. Now, on a daily basis, I am receiving emails from Microsoft Outlook stating "Please update your credentials for the account Rhonda89@q.com." "It looks like we don't have permission to get email for Rhonda89@q.com."

The daily emails from Microsoft Outlook started on October 24, 2022, about the time Centurylink Email came back on line, I think. They did not send any messages advising us of this. I happened to find the information when I looked for it online.

I am still attempting to reach someone at Centurylink for help...lol

In the meantime, is there anything you can do to assist in this endeavour.

All New York Times Cooking recipes printed from Firefox 109.0 print with the error noted above (The "end of recipe bar" and "Private Note" heading, which usually print at the end of the recipe, over-print wrapped text at the top of the second page of the recipe obscuring underlying wrapped text.). This error had appeared occasionally in the past, but now is consistently present. I have refreshed my up to date version of Firefox and cleared old print settings. The error shows up on printing to two separate printers and it shows up when printing from a desk top and a lap top computer with synced Firefox, and from a separate lap top with Firefox that is not synced. The error DOES NOT show up on printing with either Chrome or Edge browsers.

NY Times Cooking customer Service has not received inquires about this error and suggested the error lay in a settings issue.

Have others reported this error?

All suggestions will be appreciated.

Hello,

I have set my OS and Firefox language to English. While the settings, menu, etc. are in English, various alerts and popups which let me save/upload a file (please take a look at the attached picture) are in the local language.

Does anyone know how to fix it? It doesn't occur with other browsers.
