I've been using Firefox for >15 years, and for the last 2 years in China on a Mac with a VPN. Firefox has stopped opening websites blocked in China, like Google, Facebook, and YouTube, even though they all open in Safari and Chrome. I even tried Brave and DuckDuckGo browsers and they all worked. So I tried everything fromcreating new profiles, clearing the cache and browsing history, and installing an old version of Firefox. It seems to know I am in China because new profiles and new versions like Nightly show Chinese websites on the default start page (even with VPN set to South Africa). Firefox Mobile on my Android phone works fine using the same VPN. It's just his damn desktop. I'm a fairly technical user, so I know what I'm doing.

Also, on Firefox 149, there is no Refresh option in the screenshot attached.

This browser is not letting me connect with my pension website. It allows me to sign in, but the pages with my account are not showing up. How do I get it to recognize the website as safe?

I tried to go to Macys.com and got the following message:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.macys.com/?" on this server.

Hi and thank you... This is about issues going on Google and using a few websites.

I have a Macbook Pro 16" updated (OS Tahoe) and Firefox updated 140.9. The latest OS Tahoe was installed a few days ago. I use Firefox as my browser and don't wish to bounce around to Safari or Google Chrome, etc.. Firefox always works well but right now I have issues like getting onto Google as a search engine:

I have been getting issues about the same time with Google (keep getting the reCAPTCHA page see attached file.)

We get the caption missing on a news artcle when we first open up AOL and the news comes up.

My husband has some of his video music lessons in a website he goes to daily not opening up to the correct size.

My Safari page does not show the grid it used to with all my apps. Instead I get an Apple ad and have to work around it. So I am missing the Safari grid I used to have.

I have checked with Apple (3 times), Spectrum (internet connection but they did not give me a new IP address. I don't know if they can), I also Sent a message to Google forum and still Google says they are blocking me until I do a reCAPTCHA and the problem disappears so that is not helping yet. We have also connected my husband's website but they don't seem to help in this case. So it must be Firefox mozilla and Google does not seem to help except to tell us something is not working on our end.

Apple noted the latest OS tahoe could be such that, google, Firefox , etc..has not updated to match Apple updates but they do not know this for sure as they are not dealing with third party. Apple did not suggest that clearing history would necessarily help with this particular problem. I also don't have any VPN connections. Can you help? Up until today (3/26) , accessing CompuServe (AOL) mail was not an issue. Now , getting to the site is OK , but when it attempts to access the mail , I get:

What changed overnight? After getting the message , if I click on Mail , it works just fine. There is also a similar message when closing the page , but not every time.

Any clues?

when I want to open a site from my email the tab shows app.getresponce up in the browser and on the page it shows 404 page does not exist. This happens when I open sites: X22 Report episode. It is all episodes like it is programmed not to work? Also LT And We Know. Hello Mozilla, Firefox using Duck Duck Go. I am finding that connection to particular addresses within the USA are being returned as unavailable. Trying them over Google Chrome informs me that they are blocked by Google SafeSearch which I am unable to disconnect; Google suggest it's been locked in by the ISP. Is this the same situation with Firefox from the UK? Kind regards. Tim

I am consistently receiving an "Access Denied - You don't have permission to access (names site specific URL) on this server" error message on several websites. -- Lowes.com, Homedepot.com, costco.com.

I can access the home page of the website, but whenever a tab on the home page is selected or a search done, the error message is received.

Have followed all help suggestions I can find. Cleared cache, cleared history, forgotten website, refreshed Firefox, run Firefox in safe mode. No impact on problem.
